what we ordered:

had this place at esplanade saved for a while now and i finally tried it a week ago🫰 the nachos had a good balanced flavour, and it didn’t turn soggy! the 4 cheeses pizza was definitely one of our faves because the base was simply so crispy🤤 the tacos were pretty normal but la gringa definitely tasted more exceptional with the cheese hehe…

(we were also seated at the open area, we were enjoying our food while enjoying the performances happening outside😛)

first time trying chia puddies at their bukit timah outlet! went for a quiet monday brunch and we chanced upon the monday 1 for 1 sale🫰 super super worth for a healthy yet indulgent meal🤤 really love the banana blueberry chia pudding and i will be back!

the beef bacon carbonara was just out of the world OMG the beef was so so tender🤤 i wouldn’t say the burger was really special but the fries were so yummy😛 and we couldn’t stop reaching for the brussel sprouts!!!

what i ordered:

⋆ chicken & waffle ⭐️

came here on two separate occasions and i have to say the chicken & waffle is probably the best thing on the menu!!! i thought the tenders were a lil challenging to finish but the waffle combi made me crave the next bite🤤 especially because the maple syrup pairing made the taste less heavy!

our first stop was a really cozy hanok-inspired cafe in hongdae! had a really yummy sesame latte and the egg sando was pretty filling🤤

this might have been our BEST find this trip… 59,000 won for hanwoo omakase????🤤 a literal gem hidden in yeonnamdong.

on the menu:

⋆ truffle croquette

i was never a really huge fan of tartare BUT. this was absolutely life changing😭😭😭 the porridge was a great starter and the croquette was so much more flavourful than it looks!!!

⋆ beef short rib sukiyaki
⋆ stone pot rice & soybean paste stew
⋆ dessert

the hanwoo and its pairings??? SO GOOD. no words needed. (the grilled zucchini was so interesting and yummy!) every dish was so well thought out and the staff were so nice… this omakase experience was so affordable considering the quality of the food RECOMMENDED A HUNDRED PERCENT!!!

an affordable and yummy option in hannamdong! they’re known for their crispy dumplings and their noodles were also very refreshing🤤 ALSO i love anything with oozing cheese and this cheese pork katsu was LOVELY.

a hip cafe break further away from the shopping heart of hannamdong! my first time trying corn latte ever and i wish i could get this every single day☹️ the tiramisu was also really well-balanced!

a tiny but cozy restaurant we queued half an hour on catchtable for! probably one of the most affordable italian options at haebangchon as well heehee

⋆ gorgonzola truffle cream gnocchi

the lasagne is their signature dish but i personally preferred the crispy gnocchi over that! the truffle cream was soooo good i was scraping the plate😭

my favourite dishes of the night had to be the nachos and the fish tacos🤤 i couldn’t stop going for the nachos… the flavours were just so well-balanced! the fish tacos weren’t fishy or greasy at all🤓 it took me a while to enjoy the cocktail as it tasted like cough syrup at first but it tasted lovely once the fruity flavours started popping YAY

(also the service was really good—the staff kept cracking jokes with us and took amazing pics for us!!!)

first time trying snails ever in my life and it tasted reallyyyy good with the croutons!!! the steak was well cooked and the fries serving was hugeee😛 loved the atmosphere once the sky darkened and crowd started streaming in~ a good choice to splurge for occasions! taken in Claudine Restaurant by @lerzeats
