Just got back from our 2026 Lauderdale-By-The-Sea trip, & cannot thank Dad & Mary Ellen enough for this annual tradition!! Always so much fun, sun, & great food!! Brooklyn is on top of all things wedding planning!! Now that I’ve had a couple weeks, I still don’t quite have the words, but they do say everything happens for a reason… Garrett came in to Brooklyns life at the most perfect time….right after her first concussion & I am confident it wasn’t just by coincidence! I also can’t help but think Mamaw Pat may have had a little something to do with it! 🤍 Shortly after they started dating I knew…and 4 years later here we are! Garrett is a perfect addition and we are so excited to have him as a future son in law….he & his entire family have been nothing short of amazing with their love & support for our girl from day 1!! We could not be happier for the two of them & are so excited to see the life they build together!! ❤️

Due to sickness we just finished up our Christmas with the Summers family today! Missed having the girls with us since we had to push it back, but still had a great time together! ❤️🎄 by @lesliein

Bucket List: New York City during Christmas!! ✅

We spent an amazing but exhausting 5 days there, all the miles walked & people were absolutely worth it to experience the city at Christmas time!! Our nieces Lauren & Mallory live there so we had dinner with them the first night & got a short subway lesson from Mallory, which turned out to be pretty helpful & Travis navigated it like a pro!! We walked & shopped 5th Avenue, & SOHO visited St Patrick’s Cathedral, Rockefeller Center, Times Square many times, 9/11 Memorial, New York Public Library, stood in line for the famous Joe’s Pizza from The Spiderman movie, enjoyed a guided bus tour, Staten Island Ferry to see The Statue of Liberty. Celebrated Brooklyns 21st Birthday by seeing Harry Potter and The Cursed Child on Broadway & spent some time at Hurley’s with the best bartender Kathy!! Went up into The Empire State Building, saw the Financial District, Wall Street, The Charging Bull and Trinity Church. Explored Little Italy and had lunch at Little Ruby’s. Explored Central Park, Bryant Park, and Madison Square Park. Cookies from Levain Bakery, went through the American Museum of Natural History & a comedy show at Comedy Village! It was a blast, definitely memorable, & I’m thrilled I got to experience it for the first time with 3 of my favorite people!! ❤️ by @lesliein

I traveled to Park Hills MO yesterday to support our girl as a player for the last time. Although I would have loved to have seen what all she would have accomplished had she been healthy, I’m most proud of how she handled the adversity & the type of teammate she was all season! I know it was not easy at times, but she killed it & most definitely made a positive impact on that program!! VU Volleyball has given her many great experiences, tons of fun memories & lifelong friendships….we will be forever thankful for that! 💛💙

Very bittersweet that her time as a player comes to an end, but her time as a coach is just beginning! Excited to continue supporting her as she will be helping Kennedy Huff coach a 13u team at HVC this club season!! 🖤 by @lesliein

Her days as a player are winding down, & yesterday was the sophomore recognition match at VU. With the VU match starting at noon & Regional at 1:00, I was at Vincennes supporting My Girl, while my “other girls” & coaches were taking care of business at Loogootee!! I know I say it every time, but I am so dang proud of Brooklyn….they said it yesterday & I truly believe it…she is an invaluable Vincennes University volleyball team member!! 💛💙 Thank you so much to all that have made the trip to support her this season!! 💛
I also could not be more proud of our Loogootee team & coaches on the Regional win yesterday, & guaranteeing us atleast another week together!! #HeyWeWantASemiState 💛🖤 by @lesliein
