One of the most challenging things I’ve ever done, but one of the most rewarding (and exciting and scary and all sorts of feels)!

Last night, I had the privilege of taking the stage at SPEAC Success’s Drop the Mic Night. Thank you for creating such an inspiring evening centered around the theme: Becoming. I’m incredibly grateful for this experience and to have walked away with the Audience Favorite award! #dropthemic 📸 @hectorpachas taken in Stamford CoCreate by @lesliekumarposmentier

2025 was the year of firsts.

Our first family ski trip was full of laughs, wipeouts, and realizing it’s a lot harder than it looks (especially trying to gracefully get off a ski lift)!

In April we welcomed our first puppy, Pepper, who completed our family and quickly turned me into a “dog person”.

Five fabulous trips to Florida, including our first visit to Sea World where we all felt the magic, but experiencing it through our girls’ eyes made it even better. We all felt like kids that day. Jaret and I got to see some of our favorite players at The Miami Open too, and plan to make it an annual thing.

Over the summer in Bermuda, we explored new beaches and took turns cliff jumping which reminded me how good it feels to challenge yourself, even if you’re uncomfortable (like the skiing).

I stepped outside my comfort zone yet again at a retreat where I learned everyday survival skills, how to shoot a bow and arrow, and formed connections with inspiring women who made me realize that I’ve been holding myself back from success because I’m scared of it…I know it sounds strange, but something shifted in me after that.

I joined a book club for the first time and am reminded (every month!) the power of reading a good book. A special highlight: our book club was featured in the June issue of The Wall Street Journal Magazine.

We celebrated my mom’s 80th birthday in February and my 45th in November, both milestones that got the parties they deserved!

At work, I planned and executed over 50 events at HAYVN, feeling constantly encouraged, heard, trusted, and growing in ways I’m grateful for.

There were also countless gatherings, dinners, and celebrations with friends who make my life richer every.single.day. You all know who you are.

And last but not least, I launched Ask Leslie (@ask_leslie_official), an advice column in Darien New Canaan Lifestyle Magazine in December…a dream.

2025 will be a tough one to beat, but I’m not scared of trying.

Happy New Year, everyone! xx #hny by @lesliekumarposmentier
