POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

We are all multifaceted! And how wonderful that God would make us all so unique.

Honestly, I’ve put off making this post for a really long time. I don’t like talking about me. And to be completely honest, I’m not that interesting! 😂 The only truly special thing about me is that God created me and loves me.

Nevertheless, this type of post is needed so here it goes:

🤰🏻God gave me the great privilege of being a mom of 2💙🩷And because I’m a mom, I’m always in my car driving them around 😂 so audiobooks are better for me at this stage.
☎️ I talk a lot on the phone! See above. I’m in the car for hours a day. Good news though, I love catching up with my family (Hi, Mom, Dad and Sissy!🤗) but also my friends who live all over the country. I see you, ME! CA, AR, TN, VA, FL! And of course my dear friends I do life with right here in MS ❤️so grateful for each and every one of you.
😘I married my high school sweetheart, John, and he is a fountain of blessings. Even if he plays too much golf😜! We’ve been married 16 years.
🐕‍🦺One of my absolute favorite things is to walk our chocolate lab, Caddy. She’s my third child. 🐾
💪🏻I love working out! I enjoy @autumncalabrese and her workouts. Been doing those for 6 years.
📖Charles Spurgeon all day every day. I read something from Charles every single day. Can’t wait to meet him one day in heaven.
📚I’m not a huge bookworm🫣I savor books and only read or listen to 10-12 a year.
📘Books that changed my life: Mark of the Lion Series by Francine Rivers
❤️Despite being a romance author, I can’t read nonstop romance. I need a palate cleaner😂 Insert thrillers and murder mysteries! I’ve read almost every Agatha Christie novel.
👜Confession time! I have a slight obsession with Louis Vuitton handbags🫣Try not to judge me.
📝I’ve been writing stories/manuscripts since college. I fell in love with writing then but kept it a secret for a long time.
✍🏻God called me to pursue writing in 2018 when my pastor @jobypmartin from @coe22 preached, “Don’t waste your life!” about the parable of the talents. It’s powerful! You can watch the sermon on YouTube.

Do we have anything in common? ❤️ by @lesliemoorewrites

I answered this question 8 years ago, and I’m still taking steps of obedience. Have I wanted to quit? Absolutely! But every time I tried, I couldn’t do it. And then I did that whole dragging your feet thing. But I'd hear my pastor's voice, "Delayed obedience is disobedience." And decided I had to let the fear of failure and rejection go (and oh my has there been boat loads of that already!) and just trust Him.

I’m still waiting to see what God has in store but so far, the journey has been a roller coaster ride of high highs and low lows. Because I know God is in it, I'll just keep going until He tells me otherwise and cherish every little victory and trial along the way. And as I've said before, the very best part of this journey has been the people He has brought into my life.

What about you? What would you do for the glory of God if you knew it wouldn’t fail?

Me? I’d share my stories. I have 9 manuscripts. Some printed here but mostly on my computer. Plus 60,000 words give or take in a few other stories.

If nothing encourages you today, I hope this does! Don't waste your life! And don't give up. If God is stirring a calling in you, buckle up, hang on tight, and enjoy the ride.

Oh, to be a alive and well in fall! 🍂🍁🧡 Warm brown hues, gorgeous changing leaves, a crisp breeze on your cheek, snuggling under a cozy blanket, pumpkins—pumpkins for days, the hopeful feeling of something new in the air, the smell of crackling, fire-lit nights, savory, comfort foods that warm your soul. Add football and friends. Autumn is pretty special.

It’s my favorite season. What about you? What’s your favorite season? 🍁

No, we didn’t share lines until the very end. A little mixing of genres but this was so fun!

What do you think should happen next?

Four writers. Four very different ways of telling a story.
We all write fiction—but the worlds we create, the characters we follow, and the kinds of stories we’re drawn to can be wildly different.

Swipe through to meet us and discover what’s behind the books.

And now we want to know:
What kind of fiction do you always reach for?

👀 The genre you can’t resist
📖 The book you’ve recommended to everyone
💬 Or the story you wish someone would write
