Time goes by, and as time goes by, so do the seasons. Seasons are the chapters that mark our lifespan. There are cold winter mornings, hot summer nights, the first flower of spring, and the first leaf of fall. All of these things represent a specific moment; we all remember the seasons of our lives. We remember the search for heat in the hug of a lover in winter, the laughter of a careless summer night, the tears we cried in autumn, and the smell of grass in spring while lying in it. I remember the seasons of my life and cherish them; I think about them and feel them still. Seasons are a cycle of life, death, and rebirth a constant that lasts longer than we ever will. They are a reflection of life itself, of ourselves, of our imperfections and our details. They have a humbling force over us; they make us realize we are ephemeral. Just like them, we come and go. Seasons may change, but we won’t change. Seasons will turn with the world and with us, withstanding all the time, changes, and seasons. It all ends and begins with them. This issue is a walk into Nio’s seasons—his winters, his summers, his springs, his falls, and all of the in between. This issue is dedicated to life and seasons. by @lesnaive
