Beyond honored to have shared the stage with Joe McPhee for the last couple of shows. Such a sweet guy and an absolute legend. He joined us on stage for our encore tonight and it ripped, hopefully someone has a video? taken in Tubby's Kingston by @lessheroin

Like a lot of you I have a lot of election anxiety. I often think back to my conversations with my mentor, let’s just call him “papa bear.” I remember the great advice he gave me right after this photo was taken when he said “no matter what happens tonight, we always need to fight for a better tomorrow. That’s what all my raps are about.” I still think about that conversation everyday. Then when I turned to leave he said “Gregory...” “Yes marsh?” “Don’t let anyone EVER put you down for your cool haircut and the fashionable clothes you wear. They’re just jealous because they know one day you will surpass me as the biggest rapper in Detroit” #itsnotmynameisitsournameis taken in Detroit, Michigan by @lessheroin

It feels like a weird time to release and promote music but here we are. New protomartyr record is out May 29th. First video is online, and you should watch it, @loosenate and @loosemeat.biz did an incredible job. This is Kelley, she’ll be joining the band and playing shows with us starting tomorrow. I’m so incredibly excited about the dynamic she adds, and I really hope everyone that wants to gets to see it. Everything feels volatile and unpredictable right now. Please be safe. ✌️ taken in Detroit, Michigan by @lessheroin

Spent 9 hours on a plane and 5 hours on a train yesterday and now I’m at a studio where a certified auto mechanic is behind the board. #autotunes #tmobiletuesdays #letathousandblossomsbloom 💐 taken in Electrical Audio by @lessheroin
