Greek guitarist and composer Stelios Kyriakidis creates melodic, atmospheric music drawing on neoclassical, folk and cinematic influences. Combining a background in electric and classical guitar with composition, his work moves between intimate acoustic writing and expansive, cinematic sound worlds.

A graduate of Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, Stelios has over 17 years of experience teaching privately and in schools. Alongside teaching classical and acoustic guitar, he is an active composer and regular performer, helping students develop their technique and musical understanding while exploring creativity, songwriting, composition, improvisation and performance.

In this class, students will learn to weave three geometric shapes: square, triangle and rectangle, and discover how their different proportions, directions and combinations can become the building blocks for their own pin loom designs. Rather than following a single project, the workshop will explore how to think with shapes and experiment with simple design exercises. The goal is not to complete one specific project, but to give you the techniques, understanding and inspiration to continue designing with your pin loom.

Color is a huge part of how a design concept grows muscle, flesh, and bones. It’s essential for making your idea manifest, and yet it can be so elusive. Essentially, color is a form of language, and this course is all about building fluency in that language as well as putting it to use in your creative process.

In this live, online group class, students will explore color terminology, make the most of the color wheel, develop color palettes, and learn to talk about and work with color in new ways. Through hands-on practice, they’ll explore the emotions and symbolism of color, stretch their color comfort zone, and build greater color intuition. 🌈✨

Meet Jillian Comrie (@jillycomrie), a creative, encouraging, and patient teacher who specializes in tailoring music lessons to each student! 🎹🎶

Jillian was named 2025 Lessonface Teacher of the Year in Voice and Pop Voice, and as a certified music educator with 17 years of teaching experience, she has developed effective strategies and tools to coach students with a wide variety of learning styles and interests.

She is an expert in classical voice and piano and has decades of practical experience teaching and performing pop music by ear. Students come to her with a vast array of goals, including belting out pop ballads, improvising on the piano, mastering opera arias, performing Beethoven and Debussy piano classics, and writing their own songs.
