Artist - Yusuf Çirikçi Sanat pratiğim, hafıza, beden ve aidiyet etrafında şekilleniyor. Annemin nakış atölyesinde büyümek, el emeğinin ritmi ve samimiyetiyle erken yaşta bağ kurmamı sağladı; bugün ürettiğim işler bu kişisel geçmişin doğa, kültür ve gündelik deneyimlerimle kesiştiği bir alan açıyor. İplikler, boncuklar ve kumaş parçalarını bedenler, hayvan figürleri ve sezgisel imgelerle bir araya getiriyor; cinsiyete dair yerleşik temsillerden uzak durarak norm dışı olasılıklara düşünsel bir alan açmayı önemsiyorum. Bu süreçte tufting, punch, stitching ve trimming yöntemlerini birlikte kullanıyorum. Üretimlerim, gündelik kaosları tropikalist ve oryantalist referanslarla ele alırken, izleyicinin kendi karşılaşmasını kurabileceği açık bir alan bırakıyor. \\ My artistic practice is shaped around memory, the body, and belonging. Growing up in my mother’s embroidery workshop fostered an early connection with the rhythm and intimacy of manual labor; the works I produce today open a space where this personal history intersects with nature, culture, and everyday experience. I bring together threads, beads, and fabric fragments with bodies, animal figures, and intuitive images, deliberately distancing myself from fixed representations of gender to create a conceptual space for non-normative possibilities. In this process, I work with tufting, punch, stitching, and trimming techniques. My works engage with everyday chaos through tropicalist and orientalist references, leaving room for the viewer to form their own encounter. #pinkchair #lessordinarystudio by @lessordinarystudio

Scheuer Out Of Memory (OOM) thermal print on receipt paper, manually modified with hand sanitizer  8x557cm (2024) In computing, the error code “Out Of Memory” (or “OOM”) typically indicates that an electronic device does not have enough available storage space to perform a specific operation as too many of the computer’s resources are already being used, resulting in it having become unable to function properly. Based on the analogy of the human brain as our internal data storage device with a limited capacity, a customized “memory full” error message presents the similar situation of a neural data overload based on a hypothetical scenario without everyday forgetting as our basic ability of erasing previously acquired information. As opposed to its typical negative connotations, according to the so-called “Seven Sins of Memory” proclaimed by psychologist Daniel L. Schacter in his 2001 book, forgetting is both a natural and necessary part of the human memory system, particularly in reference to the concept of transience as our automatic data sorting system gradually deleting unused information in order to ensure an adequate functioning of the human brain. Initially printed out onto thermal paper using a receipt printer as an equally impermanent medium characterized by a natural ephemerality based on the gradual fading of its heat-reactive dye, the final work displays an additionally modified version of the analog error warning—its visual information having been censored manually with hand sanitizer as well as through its installative presentation as a collapsing pop-up message—ultimately visualizing an eventual acceptance of the existent circumstances surrounding everyday forgetting through the active participation in this metaphorical process of physical memory erasure. #pinkchair #lessordinarystudio by @lessordinarystudio

Doğadan parçaları 3D taramalarla dijital bir ortama taşıyarak, fiziksel varlık ile dijital temsil; yakınlık ve uzaklık, göç ve aradalık arasında gidip geliyor. By bringing fragments of nature into a digital environment through 3D scanning, it moves between physical presence and digital representation; proximity and distance, migration and in-betweenness. In this new space, a lush park I passed by one day in Amsterdam, a bush next to a bakery, a striking purple flower, and an olive tree from my hometown on the Aegean coast can all exist together. by @lessordinarystudio

Artist - Yasemin Gunhos Teething (2026) Teething, dişlerimi 3D basılmış bir rölyefe dönüştürüyor. Formun içindeki ekranda 3D avatarım ile oluşturduğum video yarı saydam yüzeyin ardından seçiliyor. Diş; kimliği ve yumuşak ile sert, iç ile dış arasındaki eşiği temsil ediyor. Rölyefin yarı saydam dokusu, görüntüyü gizlenme ile görünür olma, yapı ile ten arasında asılı tutuyor. Sekansın bir noktasında avatarın sessizce attığı çığlık, dişleri öznesinden koparıyor; dişler artık bedene ait değil, onunla yüzleşen yabancı bir nesneye dönüşüyor. Biyolojik formun dijital yüzeyle temas ettiği bu noktada doğal beden siliniyor, geriye yalnızca onun temsili kalıyor. \\ Teething translates my teeth into a translucent 3D-printed relief, with a small screen embedded inside. Behind the surface, my 3D avatar loops, partially visible through the form. The teeth carry identity. They mark the threshold between soft and hard, inside and outside. Translucency holds the image between exposure and concealment, architecture and skin. At one point in the sequence she silently screams and the teeth become something else, no longer hers but something facing her. Where biological form meets digital surface, the natural body is gone, and what remains is its representation, layered over another. #pinkchair #lessordinarystudio by @lessordinarystudio

Artist - Ece Gündoğan artboard 02 acyrlic/mixed media on canvas “artboard 02” hem iç dünyamın, hem de etrafımdaki her şeyin durmadan hızla aktığı bir anda; bedenimin, zaman ve zihnim arasındaki kaotik boşlukta donduğu bir anı temsil ediyor. Kalabalık bir laptop ekranı, üst üste binen katmanlar, durmadan gelen dijital bildirimler ve “scratch disk full” uyarısı; tamamlanmamış düşüncelerin ve yarım kalmış fikirlerin yarattığı boğucu kargaşayı yansıtıyor. Bu kaotik an bir tuval üzerine sabitlenmiş olsa da, tuvalden sarkan kurdeleler ben fark etsem de fark etmesem de her an doğal bir şekilde sallanmaya, birbirine dokunmaya ve kendi akışında hareket etmeye devam ediyor. Hayatın ve hareketin benim kontrolümden bağımsız olarak her zaman devam ettiğinin sessiz bir hatırlatması gibi. \\ “artboard 02” captures a moment where everything around me and everything within me keeps rushing; while my body remains still, frozen in the chaotic space between time and my mind. A crowded laptop, overflowing layers, nonstop digital alerts, and the “scratch disk full” warning mirror the frustration of incomplete thoughts and unfinished ideas. While the chaos is captured in place, the ribbons hanging from it sway naturally, overlaping and moving on their own, whether I notice or not.
