Sari-Sari is a celebration of Filipino creativity, not only highlighting the 55 Filipino artists who designed the deck, but also the creatives working behind the scenes who help bring the project to life. @lesterbrngl and @kaizzebert, the creative forces behind @beringueldesign, will be reimagining the venue’s 502 sqm space, shaping both the space and the experience for everyone attending. We first encountered the duo’s work through DBTK’s MoCAF installation, a brand we’ve always admired. It did not only inspire us creatively, it also made us want to shine a spotlight on the people behind the work. Their vision for the event is one of the things keeping us awake at night, in the best way possible. We can’t wait to see it come to life. Make it work, Les and Bert! Sari-Sari Colors brings together 55 Filipino visual artists in one vibrant deck of Bicycle Playing Cards, a true celebration of creativity, culture, and collaboration. It’s been a week since our first runway and it still feels surreal, stepping on that stage and sharing our story with everyone. Three months of nonstop preparation, not just the clothes but the concept, the set, the styling, the mood, and every little detail in between. Huge thanks to @mnlfashion.week for giving us the space to express what we love and are truly passionate about.
