A tradition that I started last year, and one that I plan to continue for the rest of my life, is to visit firehouses in every country I ever visit.

I never imagined that becoming a firefighter would take me places I once only dreamed of, but here I was visiting Fire Stations in Japan🇯🇵.

During this trip, I had the incredible opportunity to visit three fire stations in three different cities:

🇯🇵 Osaka
🇯🇵 Kyoto
🇯🇵 Tokyo

This is the fire station in Osaka that I visited. They let me try on their SCBA pack, showed me some of their tools, as well as spoke about the similarities and differences between my fire station back home and theirs.

So when I come to these fire houses I come with a shirt from my fire station to give them. They weren’t allowed to give me one back, but they didn’t leave me empty handed. They gave me a pair of their work gloves and some rope!

I’ll probably never touch these work gloves. They will be sitting in a box full of all the different things I have received from all the fire houses I visit.

This is the Kyoto station I found while walking the streets trying to find some food. I didn’t get to take many pictures because it was pouring rain outside.

Last but not least Shiba park station. I got the chance to trade shirts with one of the firefighters at the station. I was given a cool shirt with the Tokyo Tower on it.

I just so happened to stop by while they were doing their extrication training.

So not only was I able to trade with one firefighter I got to give my last shirt to their new guy who they call “crazy”😂. Super cool kid with less than a year on the job.

Okay so back to the Osaka, Japan fire house I visited. I need you to look at the guy standing right next to me and then swipe.

So I was visiting Tokyo Disneyland with @destinynaidaa, and we had practically finished the entire park. Since neither of us had ever been to Tokyo Disneyland before, we decided to just take a stroll around and enjoy the rest of the day. As we were walking, we came across a ride we hadn’t been on yet, so we decided to ge taken in Japan by @lesterclass

Turning 25 on October 25th, 2025🎈

As funny as this sounds I remember being a kid and thinking about this day. I used to tell myself that I would be rich and living the good life. Oh man was I right. I am rich in faith, marriage, family, career and happiness. I could not have asked to be in a better position.

Seven years ago, we crossed paths for the first time, not knowing how much that moment would shape our lives. From the early days of getting to know each other to building countless memories, every step brought us closer together. Through laughter, challenges, and growth, our bond grew stronger, teaching us what love and partnership truly mean. Looking back, it’s incredible to see how far we’ve come, and now, standing on the brink of forever, our journey has led us to this beautiful moment of being engaged. It’s a testament to the love we’ve built and the future we’re ready to create together.

I didn’t say much about this journey I was on, but I just graduated the Fire Academy and am officially a Career Fire Fighter. This was not an easy process, but I couldn’t be more thankful and blessed for this opportunity. Met some amazing people who became family. God Thank you🤞🏼❤️ by @lesterclass
