Created this LEGO® MP14 metro, commissioned by TEXELIS Transport.

Last year, TEXELIS Transport reached out to me to design a series of custom LEGO kits.

Yesterday, I took a photo of the model with the real one. Yay!!

Who is TEXELIS Transport? A French company that specializes in designing and manufacturing axles for rubber-tired metros and mobility systems for public transportation.

In memory of Maya

I have very fond memories of traveling on the Paris Metro as a child with my grandmother's sister, Maya. We visited her once or twice a year when I lived in France.

She held my hand tightly as we prepared to get off at the next station. The strong brakes of the rubber-tired subway brought the entire metro to a sudden stop in a matter of seconds. I remember Maya smiling at me and saying,
"On y va coco, the Eiffel Tower is this way!"

Maya passed away in 2019. I will always remember her warm voice over the phone and her encouragement in all my creative endeavors.

My LEGO replica of the Parisian métro is finished and I finally brought it to Paris.

Special thanks to the talented @dkhphoto for these amazing pictures!

The next crucial step is to fully electrify and automate the métro.

I finally took a summer vacation and travelled 1300 km by train from Collioure, a small village in the South of France.

Then, I travelled to Toulouse and Paris and finished my trip in London.

I've always wanted to ride on small, unique trains in France ever since watching a TV show about them. "Le Train Jaune" in the French Pyrenees was at the top of my list. When I took the train, it felt like a dream!

Last picture: I carried a carefully packed bag with me throughout the entire journey. Can you guess it's mysterious content? taken in France by @lesuperjean

Lady: What's the deal with this guy?
Me: I'm a space cowboy

I built a patio fence for @lapalettequeenwest back in 2022.

The goal was to create a 30-foot curbside patio fence that could be assembled for the summer and then dismantled partially for storage during the winter.

The project was completed successfully in 5 days and met the requirements of the CaféTO program of the city of Toronto.

My friends, I'm back in black. Did you miss me while i was away?

I've been taking some time to figure out my career and artistic path. The good news is that things have changed for the better.

Two years ago, I transitioned from video editing to woodworking and it has significantly boosted my self-confidence and self-worth.

I failed.

My attempt at reviving my pedal powered locomotive didn't happen.

Sorry everyone, I wasn't able to rebuild Locomotive #3 this year. Hopefully in a few months? A year?

I really appreciate all your support on this creative journey. The locomotive is in pieces but its spirit is still intact!

Back in black! The 10 feet tricycle frame of my locomotive has been powder coated in "Glossy Black" thanks to the amazing sponsor @ricerocketinc

Made from two old bikes and steel tubes, the frame I built for my locomotive was starting to get all rusty. Unpainted and exposed to the open air for years, it needed to be professionally coated. I was really hoping for a sign from above.

This is when @ricerocketinc stepped in and said: we'll sponsor you!

They went above and beyond to ensure that my tricycle "locomotive" frame would get the best finish possible. From sandblasting, to welding and powder coating, they did a superb work.
