what are your OG faves? 🤍

one of the first games I ever played was super mario bros. on the Super Nintendo, and I’ve been hooked ever since. I started playing when I was 4/5. as an only child video games are how I spent a lot of my time and they mean so much to me 🎀 I have so many wonderful memories by myself, with friends, and with fam.

How did you grow your hair so long? 🎀 here are my TOP 3 hair growth tips:

comment HAIR for links to my favorite hair products, deep conditioners, etc. 🤍

1. deep conditioning + hair masks
I deep condition once a week (when straightened), sometimes twice when my hair is curly! I also love adding oil to my masks. my favorite is olive oil, but use whichever oil works best on your hair! keeping your hair strong helps prevent breakage which equals length retention. my FAVES: Deep Repair Mask by @macadamiahair Grow Long & Strong by @leestaffordhair and the Fino mask by @shiseido

2. health + nutrition
getting enough sleep, drinking enough water, taking daily vitamins, and staying up to date on blood work to make sure you don’t have any deficiencies! I also prioritize protein in my diet, especially foods like salmon and eggs.

3. scalp massages + scalp care
when I was started growing my hair out, I kept scalp massagers everywhere! (comment HAIR for the links) I also love clarifying every 1–2 weeks and always shampoo 2x in the shower. my FAVE clarifying shampoo is the Detox Shampoo by @michebeauty_ I feel like keeping my scalp clean and free of buildup gives my hair the best environment to grow in. I like to wash my hair often without overwashing it.

note: I have 3B/3C curly hair, and I’ve gotten the @petercoppolahair keratin treatment twice in the last 3 years to loosen my curls and make my hair smoother, less frizzy, and easier to manage! I personally love it, but wouldn’t recommend to anyone who wants a perfect curl pattern.
