Bonus episode for subscribers! Stephen Sanow and Joe Fahey talk about their fully improvised feature: Stripper Boyz. If you’ve ever wanted to follow in Christopher Guest’s footsteps, this episode is for you! We discuss story outlines, improvising with non-improvisers, creating characters that are exaggerated versions of yourself, shifting storylines to adjust for improvised moments, and all of the technical nitty gritty of indie filmmaking (funding, releases, festival submissions, etc.). It’s a master class! Head to the link in our bio to get access to tons of bonus content and part 2 of every episode! by @let_it_sanow

Gushy Warning… Making this movie was hard. There was no script, no production company, no budget - most short films had a bigger budget than we did. But when it was hard, I would close my eyes and envision being in a movie theater screening Stripper Boyz with my friends and family. Well that night happened and it was better than i could ever imagine (minus my mom falling asleep during the movie but she was coming from the east coast so it was really 11pm her time… so…yeah.. ) This movie is really good and thats because we were lucky to have talented people put in a lot of hard work and favors to make it be better than anything we could have expected. And I especially want to thank Joe. No matter what happens with the movie we always have this experience of making it and no matter where we are in our lives we can relive that time we went to Vegas and did something cool and weird. So here’s to friendship because that’s really what this whole experience has been about. If you want to have some fun with us rent @stripperboyz on Amazon and AppleTV- links in bio. And if you can rate and review the film on Letterboxd, IMDb, and rotten tomatoes that would be very helpful! 📸 by @luke_wink_moran by @let_it_sanow
So happy to finally have Stripper Boyz out in the world on 11.7.2025. Im surprised to learn how big billboards are- i actually thought when i got the sign that it be like 1/4 the size of a billboard. Those things are huge. Anyway we love to get the word out about the film so if you have a podcast, show, substack, newsletter, regional newspaper, family group chat please let us join! As you can tell we dont have the largest marketing budget so anything helps! #stripperboyz #indiefilm #comedymovie #billboard by @let_it_sanow

Bittersweet Birthday today. Sadly found out that our family cat Misty May was put to rest last night. I begged my parents for a pet since I was four. Then finally in my junior year of high school we got Misty. I spent hours just lying on the floor talking to her. In high school I didn’t have many friends and I was only child but her companionship made those lonely years a little less lonely. Whenever I came back to visit home she be there at the door to waiting for me to pet her head. Thank you Misty for being a wonderful friend to us all. I don’t know where you are now but I hope you’re getting all the treaties… Love you Misty. by @let_it_sanow
