Autistic Wings is going on the road! Join us at the ACCESS Community Event on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 1:00–4:00 p.m.. We will be setting up our booth at the CORE Community Center (5450 Meridian Rd, Peyton, CO).

When you arrive, look for our purple Golden Chrysalises banner to meet our co-founder, Leta! We will be answering questions and sharing how to get on the waitlist to learn more about our classes at Autistic Wings.

🚨 We interrupt this broadcast for an urgent Scholarship Drive! 🚨
Right now, our scholarship funds are completely tapped out, meaning we cannot bring a single new neurodivergent dancer onto the floor. We have dancers waiting, and we need your help to make the math work.
We are looking for just 28 local neighbors or businesses to become monthly sustainers at $100 a month. Reaching this goal will immediately unlock the studio doors for four new dancers to take flight.

Just swinging by to say: The "Super Secret Video Project" is LIVE on YouTube! ⚾️✨ (It's the first link in our bio!)

When Faith was stuck in the dugout on crutches the day before our shoot, our 15-year-old autistic tap-dancing founder, Leta (@letatapstyles), did what she does best: improvised on the fly.

She threw on a song by her all-time favorite artist, @aaronwatsonmusic, and laid down her board right in the dirt for a full @TheTexasTailgaters inspired walkup!

(Sorry @thesavbananas fans, but Leta grew up watching @k_mart33 with the El Paso Chihuahuas—and now that he’s the Home Run King of Banana Ball with the Tailgaters, she’s Tailgaters all the way! 😉)

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be Autistic Wings’ neighbor? 💛

A true neighbor is someone who is there in the good times, and the first one to be there when things get a little rough.

Long before we had studio doors to open, Amazing Care Home Health Services was already standing right beside us. When our founder, Leta, was just a 12-year-old autistic dancer with a big dream and an empty room, they believed in her. When nobody came to our open houses or classes, they showed up. When we lost our studio overnight and had to find a new home, they stayed. And as our empty rooms grew into full classes, they cheered for every single step.

Amazing Care was there again when we concocted this harebrained idea to do a viral Banana Ball Championship League themed video. They were there through the hours of rehearsals. And when Faith got hurt the day before our big video shoot, Shea Thun from Amazing Care didn't hesitate—he stepped right up to the plate to be our pitcher. ⚾️

Help us welcome a new neighbor to our October 25th Trunk-or-Treat, ACCESS Christian Church! 🎃✨

With another El Niño fall rolling in, anyone who was in Colorado in late October '97 remembers just how fast a cozy autumn afternoon can turn into a surprise blizzard! 🌨️👀

Our friends at ACCESS Christian Church might just know something we don’t, because they’ve already claimed a cozy INDOOR table right inside Leta’s Studio for our Annual Trunk-or-Treat on Sunday, October 25th! Smart move, neighbors. 😉

We are so excited to team up with ACCESS for two great events this month:

📍 First Stop (Saturday, Oct 17): We’re heading over to ACCESS Christian Church’s Resource Fair to meet their families, share resources, and connect with our local community!

📍 Second Stop (Sunday, Oct 25 | 2–5 PM MT): Then ACCESS is coming to our house! They’ll have a resource table set up inside Leta's Studio alongside @amazingcarehhs, plus Leta’s Tap Jam and a full parking lot of sensory-safe Trunk-or-Treating!

❄️ And hey—if El Niño decides to give us an October '97 repeat on the 25th, don't worry! We'll just pull the trunks right into Faith's Studio, set Leta up for a tap jam in the middle of it all, and keep the party going warm and dry inside!
