We had a mini HYROX class tonight and we had fun‼️ These were new movements and new machines for Kim. She handled them all with grace and excellent form. Nancy & Charlene Thank you guys for being great examples and cheering her on. Teamwork makes us all BETTER‼️ We’re training for LIFE over here. We need to be able to get up off the floor if we fall or pull ourselves across the floor to the couch or a stair . These are all very realistic events that could happen. If you fall, can you pull yourself across the floor using only your arms if your legs didn’t work ?

My Zoom classes are every Wednesday at 6 PM and every Saturday at 10 AM central time . YOU should join me online via Zoom, or in person. Either way I can help you get stronger.

I LOVE that my warriors understand that all movement is good movement! 💪🏾

You don’t need fancy equipment to get in an effective workout you just need to be willing to MOVE! 🙌🏾

Lisa 2.0 wasn’t home, but she made sure she still joined my Zoom session. And guess what? She made 2 wine bottles work for her! 🍷😂💪🏾

True story… I went to the gym filmed this video and sent it to a friend. She replied “check your inbox on TikTok”. I checked my inbox and it’s the below video of the trainer. She sent it earlier in the day. 😂🤣🤣 I’m not saying the video is true 🤔. Is it true FitFam? She said I’ll be making up s**t🙄 by @lethal_1st

December 2025, I put on my winter coat and literally cried because it was too tight.

In January 2026, I decided it was time to make some strategic changes, not just with what I was putting in my mouth, but with my entire life, including the circle of people around me. I reminded myself: I’m just as important as all the people I pour into and help get healthier.

I stopped chasing weight loss and started focusing more on building muscle & getting stronger. I stopped constantly switching up my workouts and went back to the basics, consistency, progressive strength training, and doing the work. I was trying to out work a bad diet 😮‍💨

Now, I’m below my goal weight I originally set for myself, but I’m not done. I’m still committed to being 1% better every single day, and honestly, I’m excited to see what this body is capable of.

And yes, I’m sure menopause plays a part. But I’m not giving menopause all the glory. 😂

I’m taking responsibility for my choices and making better choices. I still eat the things I love, just in moderation.

Stop living your life trying to earn other people’s approval.

At some point, you have to quit caring about what people think of your choices, your goals, or what makes you happy. They don’t live your life. They don’t carry your responsibilities. They don’t fight your battles. And they don’t get a vote!

Live life on your terms. Make the decisions that give you peace, not the ones that make everyone else comfortable.

The people judging you aren’t living your life, you are. So stop asking for permission and start living life like it’s golden 😍 #Note2Self by @lethal_1st
