behold: The Lethal Orchestra! I had my first ever recital last month, my senior recital, where I arranged some of my favorite funk/disco tunes for a mini orchestra. This project was about rediscovering joy in my instrument and in music by combining things I love (music from my childhood, playing in an orchestra, large ensemble arrangements) with things I’ve always wanted to try (arranging, leading an orchestra, playing jazz and fusion on violin). I’ve always wanted to learn how to arrange for large ensembles and have never performed solo with an orchestra so I thought why not combine everything I want to learn in a recital! Luckily I have two wonderful teachers, Charlie Castleman and Nicole Yarling, who mentored me through this process and offered invaluable lessons, I wouldn’t have been able to do this without them! And of course I would not be able to do this without every musician in the Lethal Orchestra, you all didn’t just perform with me, you taught me how to write for and lead every instrument in this large ensemble, and I have much love and gratitude for all of you for being on this project for the love of the game (for free :D)
My full recital is posted on youtube, my channel name is lethalbeanmusic, it will also be posted on my website (www.cocobrown.me). I love arranging and am open for commissions so email me at lethalbeanmusic@gmail.com if you are interested! Thank you to everyone who came/tuned in! More lethal music on the horizon 🖼️

Grateful for these opportunities and to play alongside such amazing musicians! Lethal Quartet videos are coming soon, we are available for events also, email me!

Shoutout to the event photographer for the pictures, don’t have his contact, if anyone could drop it below that would be great :) taken in Marriott-Coral Springs by @lethalportfolio

My first post-college orchestra gig: the Konpa En Symphony! I knew I would perform in an orchestra eventually after school, but I didn’t think it would be this soon! I had the best time sitting as assistant concertmaster next to my 🅱️ro @justinskinchenmusic playing Haitian music for the first time to a sold out crowd at Universal Orlando’s Hard Rock Stage. I met so many amazing musicians, the vibes were really there! I have a vlog posted in my reels that takes you through the journey of this gig. See you at the next show in Miami :D
I’m available for gigs from late June to the rest of the summer, hit my line! Thanks to the Konpa En Symphony for having me 😆
