Feeling deep gratitude and the blessing of sweetness for this amazing circle of poderosas who came today to sit on drums and promote their ancestral culture! May it repeat itself eternally, and may we keep watering the leadership of women everywhere we go! It is an honor to walk this journey with my sisters @legacywomennyc

Shout out to these powerful ladies in philanthropy running intermediaries or Philanthropy Organizing/Serving Organizations…They are leading the call to move even more resources to the grassroots organizing field- especially in a time like now when we are seeing the shut down of government, the erosion of civil and human rights, and the public safety net. More than 50% of Black and Hispanic youth rely on Medicaid to access healthcare. The mental health and suicide rates among black youth have increased more than 144%. Defunding public schools and the staff who keep kids healthy and whole will not fortify our communities. Youth, caregivers and parents call for fair funding, protecting public schools and the lifelines to healthcare and safety for all.

We celebrate the work of The Lift Fund resourcing organizing protecting workers, Amplify Fund resourcing climate justice and power building in various states including Puerto Rico, and Neighborhood Funders Group- always answering the call to convene funders who care about organizing. Standing in solidarity with women of color leading intermediary funds—philanthropy - heed the call to fund the organizing frontlines and resource the intermediaries who support them.💪🏾🙌🏽

I have been quiet for a long time...it is what has felt right. But my 2019 visit to Israel and #Palestine 🇵🇸 continues to visit me while awake and in my dreams. 200 dead...many to be believed to be #palestinianwomen and children...Many ask for peace and reflect on how far we are from peace...what about #justice...why don’t we ask about #justice? More reflections when it feels right... by @leticiapeg
