running a self-made small business where you travel internationally every month is honestly a niche experience. 🥴🥴

It seems like the dream, but when ur juggling 100 responsibilities, a growing team, expectations, foreign vendors, fitness goals, and all the craziness of living in bombay - discipline has to be your bestie.

The weeks I get to be locked in & at home are my favorite bcuz I dedicate that time for my biggest projects, gym time, and being with my favorite people. Our biggest @dreamyytripss year is almost over, no more work trips for 2026, excited to enjoy my first real diwali/wedding season in India.

👀observations i’ve made after living in india for a year:

- going out for dinner usually involves dumplings and chilli oil
- Men treat their female friends better than women they’re dating
- People will always go out of their way to help you, no questions asked
- Getting $8 blow outs twice a week becomes normal
- Chai in bed is part of your morning routine
- Lower your standards if your getting an apartment in Bombay and increase ur budget ($$)
- Flying between Bombay and delhi becomes a quick errand
- Attending 8 weddings in 3 months is standard wedding season here
- Bach trips are a big deal
- Blinkit 🫶
- Curtains are expensive for no reason
- OTP for everything
- You’ll go to dinner with your bestfriend and you’ll end up in the Maldives for a wedding
- 1AM drives (in leggings) on the sealink always hits
- Bombay house parties > bars
- You’ll always be known for the first controversial mistake you make (or date)
- You stop being surprised when someone sends a car
- Your neighbors keep sending food
- Have a good relationship with your jeweler (or get one)
- Swearing is more fun in Hindi, and even better in Punjabi
- Townies are a cult by @letmehearyousingh
