the book girlies went to Iceland! 🧊🇮🇸❄️

I LOVE to travel and experience new places, so one of my favorite times of the year is when I get to travel with my booktube besties I’ve known since 2020. Our group alternates between international and domestic trips and this year we went to Iceland!

I bought a canon SX740 HS specifically for this trip and am so obsessed with how the pictures came out. Iceland was captured in such a beautiful way with these GORGEOUS landscape shots (can you even believe???) I feel like the camera also captured pics of us so well without me having to lug a huge dslr camera around everyday. SO HAPPY WITH THIS PURCHASE.

TLDR: take the trip, buy the camera, make memories with your besties.

🪴🍓🍰

life has been especially good to me recently. i took a month off from instagram and it draMATically changed my mental health for the better. I spent far fewer hours mindlessly scrolling and saving ideas i wasn't even able to try for myself and it **shockingly** gave me so much time back. i've been traveling for work, crafting at home, writing and writing and writing, cooking and eating and laughing, going outside a lot (even touching grass occasionally), and feeling the part of me that wants to care for my home and my friends bloom even brighter. and of course, i've been reading!

i'm obviously back on this photo app because it's fun and i want to keep sharing moments in my life. but it's a sobering reminder how quickly a little change can make such a difference, and i'll be posting things and lurking, but probably a little less than before.

so with that... happy july and happy tuesday! i hope it's a good one 🫶 by @letmeinthelibrary
