Every once in awhile you have to f*ck around to find out.

Six months ago I woke up and couldn’t move my legs properly. I couldn’t uncurl out of the tense fetal position I had woken up in. I was told I wouldn’t fully recover, and I would need surgery + long term medication.

I chose to ignore the docs on this one, found a PT, asked GPT for advice, and got to work. At the time the goal was just to be able to walk for 5-10 minutes at a time. Getting back on the mats felt pretty far away.

Fast forward six months to Leglock camp. I don’t think I’ve ever had more fun doing anything jiu-jitsu related. Somewhere between all the rolls, making new friends, and the whole atmosphere,I realized how much I love this and how much I’ve taken it for granted.

I don’t know what 100% looks like for me anymore. But I can train now. I can travel, learn, get humbled, and enjoy being on the mats again. I don’t want to spend all of that time waiting to be perfect. So I guess I’ll be spending it fu**ing around and finding out what my body can or can’t do anymore.

Went for the leglocks, but left with new friends, a few new moves, and a much better appreciation for being able to do any of this at all.

Can’t wait to do it again. Thanks to the coaches, gym, organizers, media and all the new homies I met along the way. Much love 🤙🫶 by @letoblvck

These ending credits for RTRs Bomb Track were something we did a few renditions of and in the end we went with a simpler and cleaner look inspired by iconic action movies of the past. That being said a huge inspiration for me when designing these was actually Guardians of the Galaxy. I really enjoyed how they brought that americana, nostalgic, youthful spirit back to the sci-fi genre. Definitely will be bumping the Guardians soundtrack in the next few weeks as we head to 8 countries in 10ish days and then some personal travel on top of that. taken in Guardians of the Galaxy by @letoblvck

We had so much fun on this livery reveal shoot haha. @funkymac and @speedypete356 pulled up and we all just clicked super well and the friendships were born. The original edits actually had Bruce Buffer from old UFC fights we chopped up announcing VGJ as the reigning champion and it was so epic. Also at one point @crenshaw84 had a light up skateboard cruising around as well. Directed by @thakingofhearts with @rhanermediaworks and myself alongside him it was a full house that night in the CLT. Gonna keep posting all the gold that’s just sitting on my phone so I can archive all these rad memories. Enjoy 🫡 by @letoblvck
