🎃 31 DAYS OF HALLOWEEN — DAY 3 🎃

Before Halloween Returns, there was Friday the 13th: The New Beginning.

In July 2019, I brought a script to the family cottage and convinced everyone to help me shoot my own Friday the 13th-inspired film. We filmed quite a bit and even put together a trailer!

The best part was getting to work directly with my family. Other than my fiancée, almost everyone involved was related to me. We filmed near our cottage in Thessalon, Ontario, near Sault Ste. Marie. A place where, ironically, my grandmother and grandfather met and started our Williamson family.

The project never made it much further, but it was a hell of a lot of fun.

🎃 31 DAYS OF HALLOWEEN — DAY 2 🎃

Today, we’re going way back to around 1990, with my dad rocking what I have to assume was a pretty great Michael Keaton Batman outfit…. Let’s just say. I see where some of my dorky tendencies came from…lol

But on the real note. Seriously, have a conversation with this man about the history of horror and he’ll take you on a journey through the decades. From Bela Lugosi’s iconic Dracula in the 1930s, to Christopher Lee and countless portrayals of Dracula, the Universal Monsters, Frankenstein, The Mummy, and beyond. For me, those conversations are an incredible time with my Dad. Learning more. Asking more questions that lead into “What if” storylines. I’ll treasure them forever. And it’s ultimately what got me into this genre in the first place.

Thanks, Dad 🦇🎃 by @letsallbellamas

🎃 31 DAYS OF HALLOWEEN — DAY 1️⃣ 🎃

Welcome to the first day of our 31 Days of Halloween! 👻

For the entire month of October, we’ll be sharing movies, memories, behind-the-scenes moments, inspirations, props, characters, and anything else that has helped shape letsallbeLlamas Video Productions and put us in the Halloween spirit.

And what better way to start than with Halloween Returns? 🔪

Shot in October 2019 and released on October 28, 2019, Halloween Returns was my first film outside of the Spooky Movie universe, making it my first real attempt at creating a more serious horror film of my own.

As anyone who knows me can probably tell you, I’ve always been a huge fan of John Carpenter’s Halloween and the franchise. After Halloween (2018) was announced and released, I was inspired to make my own continuation.

These photos are from one of the scenes where Martina, playing Sofia Cortot, answers the bedroom door expecting her boyfriend to have returned with some beers. Instead, standing in the doorway is Michael Myers.

Alex was filming just behind me while I played Michael, and because Michael needed to be about 6’5”f.t I was standing on a step stool behind the door with Naty holding the door at the bottom crouched down 😂

Sofia initially thinks Michael is her boyfriend messing around and proceeds to smack him in the face to get him to stop. The funny part… was Martina was actually hitting me pretty damn hard.

Hard enough that I ended up with a penny-sized bruise above my left eyebrow.

This girl slaps hard but this scene slaps even harder.

Halloween Returns was such a fun film to make, and it eventually led to us creating its follow-up, Halloween Revenge.

So, this is where we’re starting our 31 Days of Halloween.

Absolutely nuts. Thanks to all the viewers that helped us get to this milestone. Pretty epic I must say.

Thanks to the actors & actresses putting in the work. This is all built on the shoulders of you and without such a blessing we wouldn’t be able to create something like this.

We’ve gained many new subscribers through the release of this film and surely see a pattern in our production committing ourselves to particular intellectual properties, that being attached to the horror genre.

But we are incredibly grateful for everyone’s overall response & reaction to the film, good or bad.

My review of this film is that I made a Myers Halloween flick with Art the Clown as the killer. And that’s what filmmakers do. They make what they like. And I’m forever grateful to be able to do such things.

Cheers to a milli……🍻 by @letsallbellamas

600,000+ views.
5,000+ subscribers.

It’s honestly surreal to say that out loud.

This film was created with a very small group of friends and filmed predominantly throughout Toronto, Canada. Specifically Scarborough with additional scenes shot in the London and St. Thomas, Ontario regions as well.

Most of the larger scenes were completed in a single-day shoot with the group, while much of the remaining filler material and additional work was handled independently afterward. Despite the small scale of the production, we pushed ourselves to create something that felt cinematic and professional from beginning to end.

To everyone who watched, subscribed, shared the film, or supported us in any way, thank you. Seeing a project made with this much passion reach over 600,000 people is something we’ll never forget.

And we’re only getting started.

It’s incredible to see how far we’ve come.

Our previous most-viewed film, Halloween Revenge, released on October 21, 2021, has reached just over 380,000 views and has recently been surpassed by our newest film, A Terrifying Film, released on October 14, 2025, less than five months ago with over 400,000 views.

We’re honestly shocked and incredibly grateful for the success of our latest indie project. It feels even more fitting that we hit this milestone on Friday the 13th.

Our next goal? Half a million views. It’s wild to think that soon 500,000 people may have watched a movie we created. And that’s not even counting the hundreds of thousands who supported Halloween Revenge.

Thank you to everyone who has watched, shared, supported, and believed in what we’re doing. We’re committed to continuing to create passionate films, collaborate with local talent, and keep the creative spirit alive in our community.

One day, our goal is to see our work premiere in a theatre near you. And with this kind of support, that dream feels closer than ever.

Nothing like having two Friday the 13ths so close together. It finally gives us enough time to watch the entirity of the Friday the 13th franchise. Of course, we all have our favourites that we end up watching every time....But finishing all 12 films can be a challenge.

We’re still waiting for Hollywood to figure things out and finally give Friday the 13th its long-overdue 13th instalment....wouldn’t that be fitting?

Until then, check out the trailer for our almost-made indie project: Friday the 13th: The Beginning (Filmed @ Big Basswood Lake) by @letsallbellamas

🎬 200,000 Views — Thank You 🎬

We’re incredibly proud to share that our indie fan film A TERRIFYING FILM has officially surpassed 200,000 views.

Inspired by the Terrifier franchise, this project reimagines the silent menace we all recognize through our own lens. Our version of Art the Clown, “Artsy”, is a familiar face, but with subtle differences that make him uniquely ours. Think of it in the spirit of a John Carpenter Halloween film. Stripped down, atmospheric, and relentless. Only this time, the shape in the shadows is an infamous silent clown.

While the shoot itself didn’t take long, the project was built with layers upon layers of intention, detail, and care, resulting in something that truly feels like a full-scale indie production. That’s how letsallbeLlamas Video Productions does it best: creating something great with very little.

Our hope is that A TERRIFYING FILM continues to reach audiences around the world. And as it continues to do so, we’ll be ready to take the next step, bringing our first original indie horror project to life. We’re beyond excited for what’s ahead.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years, and especially to all the fans who showed up for A TERRIFYING FILM. This milestone wouldn’t exist without you.

Here’s to what’s next 🤍🖤🦙🎥
