This past weekend was a reminder of why we do this.

Our Customer Appreciation Night wasn’t about real estate transactions or business, it was about people, relationships, and community. Seeing so many familiar faces in one room, sharing conversations, laughs, and genuine support, meant more than we can put into words.

Because of everyone who showed up, contributed, and participated, we raised over $1,000 for @jacnewhaven through our raffle. That impact belongs to all of you. This is what happens when community comes together with intention. Much love to @grill2ct for welcoming us with such great hospitality

I woke up today 39 years old, on the other side of the world, married to the woman of my dreams, with two beautiful boys, my health, meaningful relationships, a thriving business, and a perspective on life I simply didn’t have a few years ago.

As I enter the final chapter of my 30s, one thing keeps coming to mind:

Young JR would be proud.

Not because everything went according to plan. It didn’t.

This year came with challenges, tough decisions, relationships that were repaired, others that were released, and lessons in marriage, fatherhood, friendship, business and leadership.

But somewhere along the way, my definition of success changed.

At 39, success looks a lot more like peace.

Being present with my wife and boys. Taking care of the people I love. Having real relationships. Building something bigger than myself. Creating freedom and opportunity for my family and others.

And still being hungry for what’s next.

The greatest blessing is being able to say that 38 was the best year of my life.

Wild to Think about that. It was the one I just lived.

We’ll If you keep growing, loving, learning, forgiving and betting on yourself…it can keep getting better.

So I’m walking into 39 with less to prove, more to protect, more to give, and a clearer understanding of the man i am and I thrive to be.

A great husband. A present father. A good son. A loyal friend. A leader who creates opportunities for others.

And most importantly, a man my younger self would be proud of. A WINNER 🏆

What makes a good real estate deal? 🏠

It starts BEFORE you ever find the property.

At our Real Estate Family Meeting, Rich Brown dropped some real perspective on what investors should be thinking about when searching for their next opportunity.

First — know yourself.

Know your financial position.
Know your risk tolerance.
Know what you’re willing to take on.
Know what a “deal” actually looks like for YOU.

Because the first deal you have to take care of is your own business.

But then comes something just as important:

WHO’S ON YOUR TEAM?

🏠 Your Realtor shouldn’t just help you find the deal — they should help you understand your options and how you can eventually exit the deal.

⚖️ Your attorney isn’t just there to review paperwork — they’re there to help protect you in the deal… sometimes even when you need protection from yourself.

Then you have your lender, contractor, accountant, property manager and the other professionals who help you understand what you’re actually getting into.

Because finding a deal isn’t just about finding a property with good numbers.

It’s about having the right strategy, the right information and the right people around the table to determine whether that opportunity makes sense for YOU.
