My dear friend, Stephanie, sent me this encouraging message that I want to share! I hope it blesses you the way it blessed me.❤️
.
I would say go after what you want at any company where you think you can get it. I know it’s hard after you’ve built up time at a company, but no one is going to look out for you better than you. If I knew back then what I know now, I wouldn’t worry about what anyone thought of me or how I was going to get where I needed to be. I would just do things that bring me joy and fuel my passions. And I’d pursue those passions with all my heart, taking advantage of every amenity and opportunity that was available to me. We only have this one life, and it is meant to be lived to the fullest and without regret. Still be a good friend, colleague, daughter, sister, niece, etc., but all choices are yours. You don’t owe anyone anything, and must live your own personal truth, and for goodness sake follow your dreams and don’t stop and don’t listen to anyone who tells you what you CAN’T do.

My Pastor @israelsolomon24 said this during his sermon yesterday and it really spoke to me.
.
We have the choice to choose our thoughts and control the way we think and speak.
.
My pastor gave 5 ways to protect your mind and change your thoughts. I hope it encourages you as it did for me.
1. Know the power of your thoughts
2. Be aware of your thoughts
3. Match your thoughts with the word of God
4. Rebuke your thoughts in the name of Jesus

It’s so easy to forget how blessed we are!🙏🏾
.
I had a full circle moment this week. I was told to find something mundane and think about the purpose, meaning, and joy behind it. I struggled! Then I realized that God makes no mistakes and everything he does and where he has us is for a reason.
.
I can’t say I trust God but complain about where he has me. Gosh it’s so easy to do that! If you can relate, I challenge you to maintain and attitude of gratitude on purpose. Be open to what God is showing you in this season of your life.

It seems like everyone is going through it. Myself included! This time of year has been really heavy and some of us just need a little hope. If you’re reading this, please know that you are not alone.
.
Losing a loved one, having health issues, losing a job, etc. these are all real issues that we feel forced to just push through even when we feel helpless.
.
I’m here to remind you that we don’t have to do it on our own. God is with us through it all! If you feel like it’s been tough. Bad news after bad news and you just need a break, my heart is with you. Standing in prayer with you because I get it! It’s not easy!
.
Having faith and staying close to God in the midst of adversity can be challenging but it’s necessary. He wouldn’t bring us this far to leave us. He is good and faithful! Rest in knowing that a miracle is coming for you then claim it in JESUS name. Amen.🙏🏾

May God give you spiritual eyes to see that He is for you. There is purpose in when and how He will move in your life. Rest in knowing that what’s for you is for you! When you feel yourself getting worried or feeling defeated, ask Him to give you peace, a patient heart, and a sound mind.

God might be calling us to do something that will never get done because of fear, worry, and doubt.
.
I had to remind myself today that Jesus did not die on the cross so we would be kept from our full potential.
.
Give it all to God! All of your worries. The next time anything that goes against what God says comes to mind, think back on all that God has done and where he’s brought you. He didn’t give you that desire for nothing. Stay encouraged. 🤗❤️✨ by @letsgetalignedpod
