Thank you to every single person that clicked a link, double tapped an image, bought a ticket, shared a post, told your friends to pull up, etc. !!! I’ve spent the last few years playing the background and not really sharing what I contribute to a lot of ventures I’m apart of—allow me to rectify that now. I am Adreanna W. Johnson, MPA owner and operator of @alumnicollectivellc (The Alumni Collective, LLC) . In partnership with my Brothers, I have built a brand and unforgettable memories that will outlive all of us. I have created every flyer, image, logo, graphic, promotional item, wow factor, sign etc. that many have interacted with or mentioned they loved. I’ve worked tirelessly to be intentional in every aspect of planning and execution of a flawless weekend despite the many critics in the background that try to discredit and undermine my contributions to the Collective’s success. I’m proud to represent women in this male dominated field. I do not take this responsibility lightly and I do everything in my power to lift as I climb. You may not know who all is doing what or what it takes to make large scale events like this happen, but know that everything is done with intention!! To my husband, @_fatherdell THANK YOU!!! You have been an integral part in building this. You’ve been there every step of the way and I couldn’t do this without you!! To my mom, @tokyo_jones , thank you for helping to make the microphones and bringing our vision to life!! We got so much feedback on how much people loved them and I’m grateful I can lean on my village when needed. Even Avery stayed up late helping to make materials 🥰. To the women working in fields where representation is lacking, keep going!! Bring other women into the space, share your talents and gifts! Don’t allow a man with an inferiority complex to stand in your way, belittle your name, or dismiss your contributions along the way. Know that our impact is felt regardless of what the naysayers say. 90 Days In 🔺🐘❤️ Seeking Delta has taught me to never give up on my dreams. What is for me will be for me - even if that means I have to work, pray, and have the GPA. I am honored to have been chosen to continue what my beautiful Founding Sorors started in 1913. May the impact of my life be as profound as my beloved 22. “Train up a child in the way she should go, And even when she is old she will not depart from it“ It’s been an incredible journey into Delta Land. I am so excited to have been chosen out of literally one thousand qualified women to join the best sorority in the world! I’ve dreamed of this moment for many years and when my opportunity finally came - I was ready. My first time seeking Delta, she welcomed me with open arms and brought 105+ other AMAZING women into my life. God assigned me some pretty difficult tasks as the breaker of generational curses in my family. Words can’t describe the joy I feel knowing I have rewritten our legacy and add something to our lineage that my daughter (and her future daughters and granddaughters) can strive to be. It feels so good to be a woman walking in such light and purpose to have a mini-me who aspires to do and be all that I am and more. She is always watching and I’m always leading by example & showing her the way.
