I did it… I finally tried the viral Walgreens banner backdrop 👀✨ Honest review from your balloon girl: I made three total — one 2x6 and two 2x8s. Total cost (after coupon): $95.88 Needed both 2x8 prints to get that oversized tree 🌲 Extra supplies: • Foam board: ~$15 • Foam cutter: ~$25 — 1000% required Had a moment with Canva sizing 😅 but once I exported at the correct resolution, it uploaded perfectly. Real talk: I usually pay my signage girl about 30-40% more for coroplast (aka the good, sturdy stuff), so this is a solid budget-friendly option… BUT it’s definitely more time-consuming and not as shiny as professional printing. (For this one though, I actually loved the matte look 👏) ⏱️ Time check: About 2.5 hours start to finish (Beginners — give yourself extra time, trust me) Also — plan ahead at Walgreens… these prints take a while to print. ONE HOUR photo was not accurate. Friendly reminder: When clients question pricing — THIS is the behind-the-scenes. Time = labor. Running around = labor. DIY ≠ free. Charge accordingly! Proud Mama Moment. 🤍 Last week, the night before Kindergarten Career Day… Me: “Quinn, what do you want to be tomorrow?” Quinn: “You, Mommy.” Be still my heart. Because the funny thing is, Let’s Party Patti started because of Quinn. I was just a mama trying to create something special for her second birthday. I had no idea that one little party would eventually turn into a business my girls would grow up right alongside. Those tiny hands truly help with my production. We prep together, create together, learn together—and have made some pretty awesome things along the way. Never underestimate what your kids are capable of. Give them a job. Let them help. Teach them. They’re watching and learning more than we realize. Find the friends who don’t just cheer for your dreams — they open doors, pull up a chair and make sure there’s room for you at the table. 🤍 And Alecia doesn’t just open doors. She pulls out the ladder, unloads the trucks, stays until the job is done and somehow always shows up with coffee (or tequila) when I need it most. From day one, she has helped me build this brand. Before LPP had a team, I had a dream — and some pretty incredible friends willing to pitch in, get their hands dirty and help me figure it out along the way. And Alecia has been beside me since my very first balloon arch- BOY...WE HAVE COME A LONG WAY. So when she started her own new chapter as an agent with BOLST Homes, she did what Alecia does... On her very first day with the company, she invited Let’s Party Patti to her first team meet-and-greet. Before she had even settled into her own seat at the table, she was already pulling up a chair for me. That moment says everything about her. She says your name in rooms you’re not in. She makes the introduction. She creates the opportunity. She shows up. And somewhere along the way, it became pretty simple: when you get one of us, you usually get both of us! 🖤 Women supporting women means we all win and our community becomes stronger because of it.
