First time eating at @santiagostapas and first time trying the @eatclubuk app! Had this delicious tapas as well as a large glass of wine and a pint for just £27 by redeeming an offer on EatClub! Was so excited to try this app since I first saw it was coming to Cardiff and wow is it worth it! We saved so much money and got to enjoy a midweek date night in the city centre for a fraction of the usual price. The food was lovely. I especially loved the padrón peppers, bacon-wrapped dates, and meatballs. The only dish I felt was missing a little flavour and depth was the lamb stew. Had the most delicious meal at @cappadocia_bristol for our anniversary ❤️ We had the mixed meat platter to share and this had a fantastic range of meats to try - beef shish, lamb kofta, chicken shish, chicken wings, and chicken kofta. The chicken shish was by far my favourite as the seasoning was just perfect with a little kick of spice 👏 The platter also came with a side of rice and salad/veg. All food orders also get the classic bread basket and dips to start, and this was of course very much appreciated 🙂‍↕️ some of the best dips I’ve ever had honestly - not much left by the end of the meal hehe taken in Bristol, United Kingdom by @letsphokingeat

@turkishkitchen_swansea might just be one of my new go-to restaurants 🤩 Food and service were both 10/10! We initially wanted to go for 1x sharing platter for 4 and 1x sharing platter for 2 as there were 6 of us, however we were advised to only get the platter for 4 as there’d be plenty of food. They also offered to cook more if we found it wasn’t enough but wow we struggled! So, this advice was much appreciated 👏 The platter included lamb shish, chicken shish, adana kebab, lamb ribs, chicken wings, chicken doner, lamb chops, cold mezze, chips, rice, and bulgur. Such value for money PLUS we were given dessert and Turkish tea on the house 😩 If you’re in Swansea, definitely go support them! First time trying @sixbynicocardiff for their street food menu 🧑‍🍳 My fave out of the 10 courses was the Vietnamese coffee-inspired dessert (first pic). This was so delicious and had so many different tasting elements, as I’d expect from a tasting menu. The texture was also super interesting, like a stodgier mousse. Loved! As for the other dishes, I can’t lie, I was a little let down. Some I enjoyed, while others lacked flavour but looked fantastic. date night at @bananatreeuk 🌴 Hadn’t visited here since they first opened in Cardiff so fancied trying their rendang again since that’s one of my fave dishes of all time, and thank god it did not disappoint! Last time, I remember the flavour being good but the beef being ridiculously tough. Thankfully, it must’ve just been teething problems when they first opened because the beef this time was sooo tender 🔥 Also tried some of their small dishes too: Chicken satay skewers Chicken dumplings Firecracker wings & of course a cracker basket to start (Only now realising all small plates were chicken-based lol) taken in Cardiff by @letsphokingeat
