✨Crystals, Glaciers & Quiet Moments ✨
In the embrace of the glacial lake Jökulsárlón, the world seemed to breathe a little slower.

We took a boat ride between the icebergs, ancient pieces of ice melting and drifting silently toward Diamond Beach, where they turn into crystal on the black sand.

And among them, seals resting on the ice, so peaceful they remind you that nature always knows how to find its rhythm.

Iceland has a way of making you feel small… and incredibly alive.

TRAVEL TO: ATHENS 🇬🇷
September, 2025
I traveled to Athens with my dear friend @mariadollyverse for the 2nd Athens Doll Meet, and we took the chance to visit the Ancient Agora.

This open-air site, nestled in the shadow of the Acropolis, once stood as the beating heart of ancient Athens—an administrative, philosophical, educational, social, cultural, and above all, economic center of the polis.

Through the centuries, the Agora endured destruction and plunder time and again, until it was ultimately abandoned. Systematic excavations began in the 19th century, and in 1957 the site was officially opened as an archaeological park.

If you ever find yourself in Athens, make sure to stop by—it’s truly worth it! ✨

ROAD TRIP: SCOTLAND 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

A photo outside of the beautiful castle Eilean Donan was a must, don't you agree?

My trip to Scotland was a unique experience that I will never forget and it is truly amazing that I was able to photograph my mini me in such beautiful places. Unfortunately, time was limited and I was not able to take more photos but on my next trip I will be better prepared. If all goes well next October you will see photos of us from Iceland!

I want to thank my dear friend @mariadollyverse from the bottom of my heart once again for these wonderful clothes she sewed for me! My dear Maria, I'm sorry that I wasn't able to use all the clothes you wrote to me with so much love, but I will use them definitely in a future photoshoot!

A few informations about this beautiful castle:

Eilean Donan is a small tidal island situated at the confluence of three sea lochs (Loch Duich, Loch Long and Loch Alsh) in the western Highlands of Scotland, about 1 kilometre from the village of Dornie. It is connected to the mainland by a footbridge that was installed early in the 20th century and is dominated by a picturesque castle that frequently appears in photographs, film and television. The island's original castle was built in the thirteenth century; it became a stronghold of the Clan Mackenzie and their allies, the Clan MacRae. In response to the Mackenzies' involvement in the Jacobite rebellions early in the 18th century, government ships destroyed the castle in 1719. The present-day castle is Lieutenant-Colonel John Macrae-Gilstrap's 20th-century reconstruction of the old castle.

A little escape in the heart of Athens… 🌿☀️

Every time we visit Athens, Maria @mariadollyverse and I try to discover something new. A new corner, a new little story, a place we haven’t explored together before.

This time, the National Garden was on our list.

And what a beautiful choice it was.
Hidden behind the busy streets of the capital, the garden feels like another world — shaded paths, centuries-old trees, little streams, birds, and endless shades of green.

On a warm summer day in Athens, it felt like stepping into a cool, quiet oasis… a little breath of fresh air in the heart of the city. 🍃💚

We wandered without rushing, stopped to take photos, admired the trees reaching towards the blue sky, and simply enjoyed being there.

Because sometimes, discovering a new place isn’t about checking another landmark off your list. It’s about sharing a beautiful afternoon with a friend, getting a little lost among the trees, and making another memory together. 🤍

Athens, you always seem to have another little secret waiting for us. 🇬🇷✨

🌿 A little escape in the heart of Athens…
After a refreshing stop by the little lake in the National Garden and an ice cream we continued our walk, looking for a little more shade… 🌿🍦

And that’s how we found ourselves beneath Amalia’s Pergola. 🤍

One of the most atmospheric spots in the National Garden, with its brick columns and lush greenery creating a beautiful natural passageway.

The National Garden was created by Queen Amalia, with work beginning in 1839. It was designed as a “picturesque” garden, inspired by the English landscape gardens of the 18th century, with winding paths, bridges, ponds, grottoes, pavilions and pergolas. 🌿

The pergola itself has its own history. The Historical Archive of the Municipality of Athens preserves architectural drawings referring to it as the “Pergola of the National Garden”, including a drawing dated November 10, 1937.

Today, the jasmine-like evergreen foliage and dense greenery have transformed it into a beautiful green tunnel — a little refuge from the Athenian summer sun. 🌿☀️

And of course, we couldn’t leave such a beautiful corner without a little photoshoot…
Sometimes the best part of a journey is simply slowing down, finding a little shade, and enjoying the moment.

🍦 A little taste of summer in Athens…

After exploring Athens, I found the perfect little spot to take a breath and escape the summer heat — the National Garden of Athens. 🌿☀️

I settled down by the little pond, surrounded by trees, rocks and the gentle sounds of nature, and enjoyed a delicious ice cream — a lovely gift from dear @dollsofmaryden at the Athens Doll Meet. 🍦💕
I honestly couldn’t have found a better place to enjoy it.

A little shade, a refreshing breeze, a sweet treat and a beautiful view…
sometimes, that’s all you need to make a moment feel perfect. 🌿🍦✨

☕ A little coffee break…

After wandering through the library, it was time for a little break. ☕✨

So we found a lovely spot in the courtyard of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, sat down with a coffee and simply enjoyed some time with my dear friend @mariadollyverse
No plans, no rush… just a relaxed conversation, a little catch-up, and plenty of stories to share.

Sometimes, the most beautiful moments of a trip are the quiet ones in between the places you came to see. A coffee, a good friend, a beautiful view… and suddenly, you don’t need anything else. ☕💕

📚 A little escape among the books…

When I arrived in Athens, the first place I chose to visit was the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center Library. 📖✨

From the very first moment, I was fascinated by the space. So vast, bright and filled with beautiful architectural details… a place that makes you want to wander around and discover every little corner.
I walked among the countless shelves, stopped to look at books that caught my curiosity and, of course… flipped through a few of them. 📚🤎

The library’s collection is truly fascinating, and I could have easily spent hours exploring it. I would have loved to take a book with me, but unfortunately, that wasn’t possible this time. My stay in Athens was only a short one.

Perhaps, though, this is a good reason to come back someday. Because some places are not simply visited… they leave you with the desire to return. ✨📖

✨ Behind the Scenes of the 3rd Athens Doll Meet ✨

What you see on the day of the Athens Doll Meet is the magic… What you don’t always see is all the love, time and hard work that happens behind the scenes.

This year, I had the joy of becoming part of the Athens Doll Meet organizing team, and I truly enjoyed every moment of creating and contributing.

A heartfelt thank you to the girls ( @mariadollyverse @kingdom_of_cerise @sewnaya @dollsofmaryden @barbie_lover_222 ) who welcomed me into the team and gave me the opportunity to be part of something so special. It takes so much time, effort and dedication to make an event like this happen — something you can only truly understand when you experience it yourself.

And these girls deserve so much credit! Despite their busy everyday lives, they continue to create an event that has grown into a beautiful tradition and is embraced by collectors from Greece and beyond.

And did you know that almost all the gifts in the Athens Doll Meet bags were handmade with love by the organizers themselves? 🥹💕
They are truly such talented, creative and golden-handed girls! 🧵✨

I hope the Athens Doll Meet has many wonderful years ahead. After all, it’s only three years old — still just a little baby!
Here’s to many more meetings, dolls, friendships, creativity and beautiful memories together!

✨ 3rd Athens Doll Meet ✨

Another beautiful chapter in the story of the Athens Doll Meet was written on September 6th… and this is a day I will always carry in my heart. 💕✨

It was such a wonderful day, filled with smiles, dolls, beautiful encounters, and people who share the same love for the magical world of dolls. I had the joy of seeing old friends, reconnecting with people I hadn’t seen in a while, and, most importantly, meeting new collectors and making new friendships. 🩷

One of the most touching moments for me was welcoming people who travelled all the way to Greece especially for the Athens Doll Meet. ✈️🇬🇷 This truly means so much to me and shows how our little community continues to grow, reaching farther and farther and being embraced by collectors from both Greece and abroad. 🌎🫶

And of course… my own mini me couldn’t possibly miss the occasion! She had her own special day too! She got to take photos with her doll friends, meet new dolls, and enjoy, in her own little magical way, this very special celebration. 💕📸

Looking back at these photos, I realize once again how beautiful it is to create memories around something we love so much. Because, in the end, Athens Doll Meet is not just about dolls. It is about people, friendships, creativity, joy, and the love that brings us all together. 🩷

And now… I am already looking forward to the 4th Athens Doll Meet! Our next gathering will be truly magical, as we will step into an Enchanted Forest… 🧚‍♀️🌲🍄✨
