KAYA turns 1 🎉

We may have created the cards, but the community brought KAYA to life.🥹

As KAYA celebrates its first anniversary, we thought it was finally time to share the memories, milestones, lessons, and people who shaped our journey over the past year.

Thank you for growing with us and for being part of our story. ❤️

Last weekend, we visited Yayasan Sunbeams Children’s Home, and honestly, we weren’t sure what to expect, but the kids completely surprised us.

They picked up KAYA faster than we ever imagined, laughing, competing, and without even realising it, learning real financial concepts along the way. We left feeling more inspired than when we arrived ❤️

A special thank you to Mr Raja from Brickfields Asia College (BAC) for generously gifting sets of KAYA to the children. Your kindness and belief in this mission means more than words can say 🌟

To our amazing volunteers, none of this would have happened without you. You showed up with so much energy, patience, and heart, and the children felt every bit of it. We are so grateful 💛

This is why KAYA exists. Not just as a card game, but as a movement to make financial literacy accessible to every child 🌍

@letsplaykaya on the plane before we reach our destination 😆

It’s such a nice game to pass time on the plane, or honestly anywhere at all. At first it was pretty confusing to play the game but the whole point of @letsplaykaya is to learn about financial literacy and making it fun.

My friends and I, loveeee board games and to know this is a local game as well, certainly just elevated our experience more 😆🫶🏻 by @letsplaykaya
