🇺🇸🙏🏽🇺🇸 Today marks the 25th anniversary where we were attacked on September 11, 2001. This was the craziest day I’ve ever lived and went through. As i was headed to work. I was coming out of the train and saw a big hole with smoke coming out of the North Tower had me wondering what the heck is going on. Then seconds later watching a plane hitting the South Tower had me in shock and in disbelief and thinking that this was all just a dream. Watching the chaos unfold, people were scrambling all over the place. Cell phones were not working, people were on payphone, trying to call their loved ones, checking in and making sure they were OK. As time had passed, i stood standing, watching the towers with a gaping hole in them and in disbelief, then the unimaginable thing happened. I never thought I would ever witness this in my life. The South Tower collapsed in front of my eyes , and shortly after that, the North Tower collapsed leaving a big open space where the Twin Towers once were.

As the city was in chaos and in disbelief, people were running, screaming, crying, and in fear. New Yorkers stood strong and united with the rest of the country, we all came together as one in the time of need. I was there doing some search, rescue and recovery for about a week or two, and let me just tell you, there were things that I wish I had never seen, and things that you should never see. Let us never forget those who died and those who died trying to save others. To all the First Responders who died in this tragic event, you will be missed. We will never forget and be never forgotten.
