I'd started working on this song with Sukruth before the album was really in mind. It started with a sample loop that I'd stumbled across, and Sukruth dressed it up beautifully. Snapshots of experiences from my myself and some friends, compiled into a song.
It's one of my favourites from the album now. I can't thank Soham and Kushagra for cooking up the visuals. Album out tomorrow, lock in.

Big update! I enjoyed teaching a two-week Type Design Practical course for 3rd years at DJAD Coimbatore @djadcbe . I worked with 14 amazing, eager students who worked on a staggering 7 Indic scripts in total!

We did skeleton and flesh letterform explorations, while understanding counters, axes, spacing and internal proportions. Then there was the selection of style, creating letterforms in that style, and finally digitisation.

It was a wonderful learning opportunity for me as well, to teach a bunch of students new to type and font softwares, as well as new to designing anything Indic. Giving feedback on 7 scripts was no joke, and I’m really thankful to some of my good friends of type for helping me out on that front.

I have a lot to say on this experience, I’ll probably make a lengthier post on LinkedIn in the next day or two with more details on what I did, and the output. Some photos of the process until then :) taken in DJ Academy of Design by @letterfromtaro
