Dear Passenger,

The saddest part was never losing you.

It was realizing how much of myself
I gave you access to.

How completely I let you in.

The aftermath of that trust being broken
is something you probably
can't even see.

"It isn't just missing a friend.

It is grieving someone who still exists.

Losing someone who once spoke your unspoken language, while knowing they are still somewhere out there."

“Before you judge my healing, remember what broke me. You don’t get to cause someone’s pain and then lecture them on how they should heal from it.”

“Showing up every day. Being authentically the same you’ve always used to be. And yet — not someone’s first choice, not someone’s comfort zone.

But somewhere, you are someone’s whole universe.”

They push you to your limits
and wonder why you behave the way you do.

They get you out of your mind
and then claim you're crazy.

Being deep, sensitive, and selective
is a privilege.

Get lost.

“It simply takes the wrong person,
at the wrong time,
meeting us at our weakest,
to bring that side into the light.

Even the kindest soul
can be led to witness its own shadow.”

So whose voice do you follow?

When you lack confidence
and start looking for it
in others' perspectives —
you tend to lose your own.

Dear Passenger,

Maybe love as a feeling just doesn't exist.

Maybe it comes in many shapes translated into other feelings entirely.

Love is a package.
Acceptance, tolerance, presence, care.
Empathy, loyalty, sacrifice.

A sum of positive traits creating a safe environment to be your true self.

Maybe Love Was Never a Feeling. 💌🚂
