Love this narrator trend from TikTok so I had to jump on the bandwagon! It’s giving 2000s romcom 🫶🏼 I hope you find it entertaining, this took me days lol

Allow me to reintroduce myself: I’m Mari, a calligraphy and engraving artist based in Switzerland

I’m on a mission to romanticize life and to prove that handwriting is more special than ever and that any product can be elevated when customized ✨

So if you’re into aesthetic art and oddly satisfying videos created with love by an overachieving millennial, you’re at the right place 💛

When you’re an “I can make that myself” girlie

So I made a beaded bag for the first time 🍇 It took many hours over several days, but once you get the hang of it, it’s quite satisfying to craft. And I honestly love how it turned out!

I’m already thinking about the next ones in different colors and bead sizes 👀

Hot foiling on leather wallets for @secrid

The pop-up card flick does it for me 😮‍💨
Hand lettering embossing with heat foiling is def my favorite way to personalize leather goods

One of the underrated skills of a live calligrapher? Writing straight without guidelines 🖋️

As a calligraphy artist in Switzerland, I’m used to switching between languages on the spot. English, German and French are the most common ones, but I also often get requests in Italian, Spanish and Portuguese. I love this multicultural mix

(The ceiling light shadow was a paid actor here) 😅

I made a beaded bag for the first time and now I’m obsessed 😍

I’ve been seeing beaded handbags all over my social media, and unfortunately I suffer from “I can make that” syndrome

Not only did it turn out super cute and functional, it also makes me feel proud to have made this with my own hands 🍇

Should I make another one in a different color or shape?

Calligraphy + embroidery = 💛✨

Here’s your reminder that name cards for events don’t have to be boring! And a great way of making them stand out is by adding texture

Should I make a detailed step-by-step tutorial on how to do lettering embroidery on paper?

This was the third embroidery design I‘ve ever stitched 🐶 How did I do?

For this fluffy dog, I followed a video by the talented @casually_unique 🧵 Go check out her page, she embroiders the cutest pets! And if a total beginner like me can make one, so can you!

I used to have a Pomeranian named Happy, who lived to be 12 and was very much loved. So this little embroidery is my way of carrying her memory with me, quite literally in my pocket 🥹🐾
