Can't get enough of @briella.dance1 's spark, her drive, her talent and her hard work. @lauranares7 at it again creating artful choreography that brings the audience together in cheer and excitement. The technique, footwork, skills and sounds are a masterpiece. Watch carefully or you'll miss the difficulty as @briella.p7 makes it look flawless.

You have wins and then you have WINS. This artistically crafted beautiful solo was choreographed by a bold, graceful visionary @mianelson_ ‼️❣️
Some wins are packaged in @briella.dance1 stepping out on stage with a second solo to diversifying herself, in the challenge of 10 minute quick changes, and in working to meet the expectations of excellence as a soloist with the strength of supportive words from Miss Mia ❣️

What happens when you have three talented dancers and pair them with a talented choreographer? Final results: National Champions Senior Division Duo/ Trio for their Trio Tap. Not bad for first time ever competing in Senior division! ❣️🥰
It is obvious not only how hard they work but also how much they love each other. @briella.dance1 said that this is the peak happiness of her summer. Watching them own their pride and celebrate each other is the ultimate trophy. taken in La Quinta Resort & Club by @lettypsyd

@briella.p7 is right in the middle of competition season: seven routines @carlsbaddance , two of them solos @lauranares7 @mianelson_ ,with one more regional and Nationals still ahead. Meanwhile, new choreography is already underway for her new high school team @carlsbadxcaliburdance .

This coming week is all about CDC’s recital, where she’ll be on stage 19 times in just two days — 15 of those on Sunday alone! And before recital weekend even begins, she’ll have danced 24 hours this week between high school team practices, studio rehearsals, and dress rehearsals.

A dancer’s brain is one for the sciences. At this moment, she @briella.dance1 , has 18 different routines memorized — and that doesn’t even include the 5–7 routines from her most recent team nor warm-up routines. by @lettypsyd

Rewind six days ago… 8:15 a.m., school drop-off. T-minus eight hours before day one of a three-day dance team audition. She says, “Mom, you know one time they asked Lightning McQueen, ‘How did you know you could do it?’ and he said, ‘I just never thought I couldn’t.’”

She steps out of the car and says to herself, “I just never thought I couldn’t.”

Determined—with hard work, talent, and skill to back her up, and instructors who believe in her, she was welcomed to @carlsbadxcaliburdance Xcalibur Dance Team this (very) early morning. @briella.p7 your dedication to your craft, your kindness and your fierce drive are what heros are made of. @briella.dance1 has become and continues to develop into her future self with pride, dignity and skill.
ps.... How special that Bella delivered the X sign. When Briella was in 5th grade she watched & cheered- on her good friend Bella as she auditioned for CHS Dance Team. by @lettypsyd
