2025 felt like two distinct halves. So much darkness and struggle followed by the brightest light, with a whole lotta hard work along the way.

Every one of these memories, filled with each of these beautiful souls, quite literally brought the light back to my life when just when I’d started to think it might be gone forever. Thank you, my beautiful chosen family, collaborators and dearest loves. 🖤 taken in San Francisco, California by @letzel_pretzel

One last time warp. This show has been coursing through my lil veins for a hot decade, and I can’t think of a better (albeit fully devastating) final sendoff for it. We made something truly magical and somehow convinced the most talented + passionate people on earth to be a part of it? I love you all so much.
Rocky forever.

1. I’ve swung into so many shows I’ve made and it’s always a scramble but this was effortless and a deep, deep joy. I choose to celebrate that with a gratuitous crotch shot.
2. Genius lighting designer @thatssocraven also happens to be an incredible friend. How did we get so lucky?
3. There’s nothing like gorgeous dancers who also say HELL YES to a human centipede on a runway.
@_wem.wem_ @kokirikid @katyydeines @sasha.holton @yifanovich @trixayyee
4. @legallysammy + @itslisafrankenstein lighting the dang stage on fire.
5. @cheetahbiscotti + @theaustintip lighting another part of the club on fire. (It’s immersive, you see.)
6. @juliochavez @itslisafrankenstein + @staunchlibra never not slaying.
7. C’mon framing.
8. @darcydrollinger owning every inch of it.
9. See previous note about @thatssocraven being a lighting genius.
10. Phantom babes @yifanovich @sasha.holton @trixayyee
11. The telenovela Rocky of my dreams and my literal muse forever @legallysammy
12. If you need to deliver a timely message, simply place it atop the famous buns of @legallysammy
13. Did someone say buns
14. Opening night angels came all the way from Denver. You sure know how to make a girl feel special @bekah_lynn_b + @dbroas
15. @darcydrollinger has the hardest job in showbiz
16. Oh right, this all started with an underwater video shoot. NBD. @jason_m_hoover
17. “Hey can you guys 69 but like with fitness?” @sasha.holton + @legallysammy said “yes ma’am.”
18. It’s called range, honey. Look it up. @beltingdowntheoctave
19. Site of the next unintelligible AI billboard. But it’ll always be this in our hearts. Our home forever @theoasissf
20. The reason for everything. Our star. Our inspiration. Our mother. @darcydrollinger

Yes I know I’m 100 years late but this is what happens when we insist on overlapping shows like a nuts person. Anyway My Fair Lady at @sfplayhouse was a big one! I love the incredible friends I got to do this alongside and the new ones these months together brought into my life for keeps. ❤️💐

1. Opening night cast
2. The absolute best dressing room girlies. Just IMAGINE the hot goss those walls heard. @allthatjill @jillslyter23
3. Swing power
4. Do I look insane? That’s because I got thrown into this too-big-for-me frock and jumped into a new track at the last dang minute.
5. My swing sister for life @annie_banannnie_
6. Swingmageddon! That’s SEVEN of us on at the same time. @sethrhansontenor @mattletton @emilykessel_ @annie_banannnie_ @brie.sings.dances @andrio.jordan
7. My BOYS @chachi.delgado @heyjura from the sewers of Manhattan to Covent Garden.
8. The jazzman @bradalius
9-10: Opening night! I brought my bewbs.
11. You didn’t know that @andrebelagio and I had our own sitcom set in a theatre lobby? Weird.
12. I ripped new holes in that dress with every high kick. She was eventually retired.
13. Everyone knows the cool kids hang outside during rehearsal breaks @jawmer @mattletton @kareemesteem_
14. We’re still cool inside tho @mattletton @sethrhansontenor
15. We always stop and say hi to “Danny from the poster” @d_dubble @gangleshanks @jillians_1
16. Miss ma’am @allthatjill was on vocal rest because…
17. …she had to make her Eliza debut!! Superstar.
18. A lobby beer for @d_dubble
19. Thank you @juliochavez for teaching me to settle for nothing less than a man who will carry your @laducashoes and water so that you can talk with your hands while you walk into work.
20. And finally, creeping on @gangleshanks from my apple box ❤️ taken in San Francisco Playhouse by @letzel_pretzel

Swinging is a truly bonkers thing to do. Yes, the singing and dancing we all expect, but the mental toil that happens in private (usually late at night, alone in our apartments after long rehearsals) is what makes this specific job such a beast. Sometimes, while twisting our brains and hearts into these strange shapes, we are blessed with a team that actually GETS IT and lifts one another up while on this madperson’s journey. So much gratitude to this #swingnation, cast, creative team and crew. Happy opening, my fair ladies.🖤 taken in San Francisco Playhouse by @letzel_pretzel

A long week full of both tiny victories and tiny heartbreaks calls for some day-off dance therapy. So grateful for my home studio @odcsf and this lil bod. 🩶 taken in ODC by @letzel_pretzel

We love a three-studio day. Being a working artist is no joke, but dang I am lucky to make the art and shape the minds in these sacred spaces. 🖤 by @letzel_pretzel

The April+May era was a real kick in the dick but we’re thriving in June and beyond, by making art in these spaces and loving these cute superstars. ❤️💔❤️‍🩹❤️‍🔥 taken in San Francisco, California by @letzel_pretzel
