Woah what is going on here?!

To others, it may be just a social dance competition dance in the final, or another ‘Carlito being cheeky again’ moment. But to me, it was a timely turn of page, and I was extremely grateful to be in this moment with our big sis @chloeloh_paradizo

Before I fully revealed my Top recaps of 2025’s comp moments - I had to give this one - a super special and individual reel coverage: long overdue but this was special, and everything worked perfectly - the music, the connection and the feeling.

In 2025, social dance competition has been an integral part of my dance journey. i simply do it to improve myself and try to go over my own struggle to get closer to the next level.

Yes I may have won this one in Oceania🏆🏆, but I have also fallen short in others - to me , what I only cared about is my growth, how I see myself change my way of dancing and project differently, and how I learn to embrace an alter ego.

I had my answers in this special dance at @levelup.festival . And to me, it is more than what I ‘physically’ achieve, and these discoveries mean the world to me. 💕💕

Thank you all for capturing the moments for me, and showing your support and love.

Currently in my Off-Season since end of October and looking forward to returning and competing again!

Our favourite homegrown festival, we are so happy and honoured to be here each year

Every year we put huge time into planning a workshop that will really make a difference to people’s dancing, and helps them to see bachata in different ways

Prelims & Semi-final at @levelup.festival @bachatasocialworldcup

First recap of @levelup.festival ❤️

From a Monash Clayton student at @monashdancesociety to an Oceanian Title 🥇 this was the first Oceanian Comp I did since 2019 Australian Dance Cup. This trip almost felt like a cycle - an end to the past and an beginning of a new start 💫

Sharing the stage with these followers was truly mesmerizing. Look at these dances, some were explosive, showy and expressive, some were gentle and even poetic. Some others? Goofy and free when judges were not looking at that corner 😆 But it was such a complete experience of dance, and you felt humbled and inspired by such experiences. I have not enjoyed social dances like this for a while. To have it in Asia-Pacific, we are so lucky ❤️

Australia has a piece of me. When I left in 2021, that piece of me was left there forever. Glad to be back, feeling somewhat complete again and sharing with my friends again. Seeing the scene has become so amazing makes me super happy 🫰🏻

Thank you for capturing these moments 🫶🏻 @hannah_is_in_the_wild @dancing_with_jd @ericaying12 @brenbrenxtaytay @elise.imm @buiteresa

Bachata Storytelling ✨

When both dancers are fully present, the dance is no longer a compilation of moves put together and it becomes emotion, connection, and shared creation.

Lead with intention.
Follow with freedom.
And tell the story together.

Thank you @ericaying12 for creating magic together🤍

Finals Oceania Qualifiers @bachatasocialworldcup 🌏 with @carlossegura.bachazouk ✨

Competing with the best dancers in Oceania was such a beautiful and humbling experience ❤️ The energy, the talent and the level was insane. I felt inspired everywhere I looked ❤️‍🔥

After rewatching my rounds, I kept asking myself how I even made it to the finals 😅 I was way too excited and not grounded enough. My technique failed me multiple times and there’s so much to improve. Still, I couldn’t be more grateful to have shared that floor with such amazing people.

Thank you to all of the leads in the competition, I had so much fun dancing with all of you. To the followers, you all inspire me so much and remind me why I love this style so much. Australia showed what it’s made of 🇦🇺

Can’t wait to see the top 3 representing Oceania in Geneva 🇨🇭 You guys absolutely killed it!! ⚡️
