RIP Matthew Kivett.

Matt Kivett was the Manager at Gonzales Music Wholesale, which end up being our distributor for many years. We built a strong working relationship, which evolved into a lifelong friendship. Matt was featured on DIAMONDS IN THE DIRT 2 and 3, and he was able to attend the DIAMONDS 3 Screening at the Malco Theater in Gonzales in January.

We owe so much to this man. When Brock and I released our first tape, he took a chance on us. We didn't have much of a following at that point, but he believed in our work ethic and gave us a shot. We proved him right and eventually reached the Number 1 position in CD sales with multiple of our releases through Gonzales Music. After building trust with Gonzales, I end up bringing more local releases to him from T-Bo, Da Jiggalaters, Down Bad, Box etc. He always showed major love to Baton Rouge Artists. #DiamondsInTheDirt #DITD #DITD2 #DITD3 #GMW taken in Gonzales, Louisiana by @leveragefilms
