La primera retrospectiva en España de la artista y cineasta francesa @annehorel nos propone acercarnos a internet como un yacimiento de cultura digital, reflexionar sobre sus posibilidades expresivas y lo que queda oculto bajo la superficie de la pantalla. 🎬SOLAR FUTURES Films for other futures 🎞️ Finding films that fit within the solarpunk imaginary is not always easy. While cinema has long explored dystopian futures, technological alienation, and collapsing societies, visions of sustainable, regenerative, and collectively imagined futures remain less common. Yet, beyond strict genre definitions, there are films that resonate with solarpunk ideas: stories that explore alternative ways of living, reimagine our relationship with nature and technology, or offer glimpses of worlds shaped by cooperation, care, and ecological awareness. This selection brings together films that, in different ways, invite us to look beyond dystopian narratives and imagine other possible futures. Entre el 17 y el 20 de septiembre, la octava edición de #LEVMatadero reunió en @mataderomadrid algunas de las propuestas más interesantes de la creación audiovisual contemporánea. Una programación que nos llevó de la danza y el cine de @neondance a los diálogos entre caligrafía y electrónica de @schnitt.it + @aoi_gm, de la electrónica experimental de @drewmcdowall y @maiapedro a las propuestas de @kyria.libia, @milianmori, @kellymoran__ y @drabs_m. El programa VRTX abrió la puerta a nuevas formas de relacionarnos con lo virtual junto a @alonggoodbyevr, @mydlak_studio y @c4158chestnut3olive3, mientras las instalaciones de @1024architecture × @vitalicofficial, @riccardogiovinetto e @initi_playground invitaban a jugar, experimentar y transformar el espacio. Y una vez más, la Plaza Matadero acogió una Silent Sound Session, esta vez con los paisajes sonoros de @suso_saiz. Así fueron cuatro días de creación, descubrimiento y encuentros.
