You know what’s better than hanging your head out of the car window? Sitting co-pilot with my momma, head on a swivel, and the a/c blasting my fur.

It’s been one heck of a hot summer here in Indy. It’s too hot to have the windows down, but I’m a happy boy just being in the car.

My momma just doesn’t understand why I like to sleep under the side table. She says I’m way too big to fit in the space! But whatever. I make it work. There’s a kitty bed under here, too—never mind the HUGE orthopedic dog bed that my butt is laying on. 🤭

I had a stressful morning, so I’ll be here if you need me.

I had a checkup with my neurologist this morning for my seizures and the nerve sheath tumor behind my left eye and it wore me out! I slept the whole thirty minute car ride home.

The low down: momma will have to up my seizures meds since I’ve had an uptick in them. I went a whole year and a half without one, but I’ve had four since December. Not a significant number, but since I’m already on the lowest dose possible of Keppra, I’m going to take a higher dose. No complaints from me! That’s more peanut butter! 🙌 Thankfully, the seizures I do have are very mild and don’t last long. And as for the nerve sheath tumor on my left ocularmotor nerve, it’s status quo as far as we know. Since I show no neurological signs of it—apart from a bit of a droopy eye and my pupil being fully dilated 24/7—my vision is good and my left eye still reacts to movement even if the pupil is dilated. So we’re gonna just keep on truckin’!

My momma read the notes from the appointment, and the best thing she read was: “Loves attention and being pet.” You better believe it!! 🥰

Happy Fourth of July! 🎆🇺🇸 Celebrating 250 years. ❤️🤍💙

@danandshay sang the national anthem (on June 12 at the FIFA opening ceremonies) on par with Whitney Houston’s rendition in 1991. No frills. No making it their own. If you haven’t heard it, take a listen. It’s worth it. 🇺🇸

It’s not even noon yet, but the temperature is already 87°F with a feel like of 107°F. Momma decided to give our snoots an indoor workout. We’ll never turn down searching for cat food and Cheerios in our snuffle mats!

My momma and Grammy were both gone for ten hours yesterday and left me and Louie and the cats by ourselves!!

I haven’t let her out of my sight today. I’m sitting on her to make sure she doesn’t leave again. 🤎

Don’t worry. Someone came and checked on us … but it’s not the same!! 😝
