One year ago, I sat with tears in my eyes as I celebrated another year of life. I remember asking the Lord if He would bless me with a child by the time I celebrated my birthday again. (Cried because I missed Levi so much as he was away on reserves, again)

Sometime after, I found out I was pregnant. I did the math and realized… this baby would be born before my 27th birthday. 🥹

Last week, I celebrated another year of life surrounded by the people I love and cherish most. Thank you for every message, every surprise, and every bit of love. 🤍

This year, I became a mother. A gift truly from above. An answered prayer—one I never imagined would be answered so quickly.

Here’s to another year of life, another year of His faithfulness, and another year of dreams coming true. 🤍

BARLEV YOCHANAN DAVIS 🤍

BAR; Pure (Hebrew), Son (Aramaic)
LEV; Heart (Hebrew)
YO; Part of YHVH / Name of God shortened (Hebrew)
CHANAN; Showed favor (Hebrew)

“Who shall ascend the hill of the Lord? And who shall stand in his holy place?
He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to what is false and does not swear deceitfully.” Psalm‬ ‭24‬:‭3‬-‭4‬ ‭

“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.” Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭8‬

Our prayer is that He would be pure hearted before the Lord, set-apart unto Him and a voice crying in the wilderness, preparing the way for the Lords return.

Everyday that goes by means we are closer to meeting our little baby.

We are just a few weeks away and I’m so happy we got around to capturing this season.
I’ve been challenged these past months to be present in the now and take in every moment of this journey. Not rushing to imagine, think or dream of what’s to come and truly not worry about my child leaving me one day as an adult 🥹 Yes, I know there is still time and I pray the Lord continues to remind me, us,daily that every day and moment is a gift and it will never repeat itself.

🤍 @jjjulieephotography thank you for giving us these memories, ones we will cherish forever.
