ATTN- I started playing football infront of my house in Bismarck and Cook. My whole life revolved around it and got my first pads 2001. The only thing I wanted to do was be a Pirate. I moved back from Seattle because my mom had to make sure my brother was okay. I came back and was not making the best choices til Matt Miethe and Shawn Carney talked about Roger’s 9th grade football.

So many people helped me and The Hillyard John R Rogers Athletics community is all I rep and want to make proud. I love all the coaches I had and all the kids I have coached.

Since recent medical issues I can not coach. I am stepping back. I have coached most of these athletes at frosh level and got to see them as seniors. I want to work with alumni and bring all those who wanted to see our kids win and support them. So people know we are not a stereotype of trauma but how Relentless we are at life. We all start at different places in life….. let’s support our kids at Roger’s!!! Aaron Brecek Ryan FamFive Cole by @levihorn79

Want to thank Ryan Bagley for the amazing art for the Montana Indian Athletic Hall of Fame shirts he is going to be making for me and the crew. by @levihorn79

When my boy says he wants donuts for bday party only spot to go is Donut Parade Spokane. When I was young my mom would treat me once in awhile to a donut there. The Peabody’s trusted me with coaching their sons and I love how they support Hillyard! by @levihorn79

So amazing to be apart of these seniors life. I knew most when they were frosh and now I get to see them senior night. John R Rogers Athletics coachlevi.mentalperformancecenter.com by @levihorn79

The athlete sitting on your bench forgets one thing...you picked them.

🏈Former Griz All-American and Chicago Bear Levi Horn says every athlete should remember that a coach came and asked them to suit up, which means that coach is already investing in them. “I’m not the best, they might not want me” is a story a lot of kids tell themselves from the bench, and Levi calls it a negative place to start from. The roster spot already proves you believe in them, and the rest is up to what they do with it.

Coach, somewhere on your roster is a kid who will still be giving you credit long after he’s hung up the cleats.

🏈 Levi Horn never had a father, so every coach he played for ended up filling that role. He says being able to talk honestly with those coaches mattered so much, and he still gives credit to his high school coaches in Spokane, who “pieced it together and shipped that present off to Oregon as best as they could.”

🎙The full Masters of the Game interview with Levi is out TODAY on YouTube (search “Pro Athlete Advantage”)! Watch it, then send it to the athlete on your roster who needs to hear it.

Coach, the kid who tunes you out at practice might be telling you something about the relationship.

🏈 Levi Horn grew up without a father, so every coach he played for ended up filling that spot...and he says that bond is what let him take the hard coaching. His advice to athletes is blunt: if somebody’s going to criticize you and coach you up, “you better freaking like them.”

I loved this section of the conversation because it’s exactly the kind of athlete mindset we train inside our Pro Athlete Advantage program.

ATTN- When I was younger I wanted Rogers to win,I wanted to marry Tatum Horn and play in the NFL. Today Rogers is 5-1, I’m married to my soul mate 14 years and Bears asked us to go to Lambo. This might be a sim! by @levihorn79

ATTN- TBI will be forever apart of my journey. But thanks to #NeuroStim and Inland Northwest Neurological Performance it will not be suffering! Athlete’s-women’s and men’s- brain health needs to be checked out and supported. by @levihorn79
