POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Introduction time! I’m Jen, the founder of this nourishing little corner of the world. Originally hailing from the desert lands of Southern California, I have gratefully found home in these Sierra Nevada foothills (Nisenan territory) since 2006. A proud mother of two beautiful beings, I’ve been drawn to the healing and spiritual arts since I was a teen. My own curiosity and desire to feel more alive led me to experiment with cellular detoxification, opening doors to amazing changes. I received my foundational education at the New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics in 1999, which began a lifelong fascination with studying the body and ways to enhance vitality; this points to my colon-hydrotherapy practice just a few doors down from the shop! 💫

Around my 40th birthday, I experienced a series of painful losses spanning several years, and while still rebounding from that profound grief, was diagnosed with cervical cancer. Thankfully, I’ve been in remission for almost three years. Applying embodiment and soma therapy practices to address stress, I have found, is paramount for recovery from illness. Opening this store exactly two years ago - a longtime dream - was a big part of celebrating my healing journey and sharing all that I have learned along the way with our community. We are just getting started! Deep gratitude for being here 🤍🤍🤍

Gratitude to @botanicandluxe for speaking to this and inspiring us to add our voice! This message is shared with so much love for all of you who want awesome shops in your locales to stick around!! That’s everyone, right? Right!

So please support brick & mortar shops instead of cultivating the habit of discovering in person and ordering online. We put so much time and effort into finding, vetting, and showcasing treasures to share with you 🫶 And as the wonderful folks at @botanicandluxe shared, if you discover something in store but want a different size or product from that line, ask the people who work there. It’s our joy to hear from and accommodate you, truly.

Also, we do have an online shop if coming in IRL is not an option! taken in Levity Health Market by @levityresource

🍵 For the love of MATCHA 🍵

Introducing our new organic, ceremonial grade offering from Magic Hour Matcha! IT IS SO GOOD. Sourced from a pristine, lush valley in Kagoshima, Japan, far away from pollutants and toxins. The freshness of the tea is both reflected in its bright green hue and sparkling taste on the tongue. Its creamy Umami flavor spreads over your palate delicately, flecked with overtones of sun-warmed grass. Available in pouches or violet glass jars.

⚱️Castor oil packs⚱️The ancient ritual for taming inflammation, improving lymphatic circulation, and even supporting organ function (like when placed upon the liver, thyroid, uterus, or kidneys).

This very viscous and lubricative oil was turned into healing ungents and ointments since ancient times. As a a triglyceride lipid, it’s composed of unique fatty acids, 90% of which are rare ricinoleic acids—antifungal, antiviral, with a decongestant and detoxifying effect on the skin and lymphatic system. (Artemis, Nadine. Renegade Beauty).

Science confirms: a study has found that castor oil packs produced a temporary increase in the number of immune-boosting T-11 lymphocytes, which defend against pathogens, target abnormal or cancerous cells, and support overall immune coordination (Grady, Harvey. Immunomodulation Through Castor Oil Packs).

We have a variety of high-quality castor oils, organic cotton flannel, and specialized mess-free castor oil packs (for the liver, pelvis/hips, eyes, breasts, thyroid, hair, and for kids!) to help you lock in ⚱️ taken in Levity Health Market by @levityresource

MOO ❕ beautiful artwork by @idriesk

Introducing our latest obsession from locally-owned @terraviva.health 🐮 and NOT coincidentally the very first “protein powder” we have ever carried in the shop. Because it’s so much more than that! This nutrient-dense offering is a 100% grass-fed and grass-finished whole organ complex (liver, heart, spleen, kidney, and fallopian tubes), that also features colostrum, collagen, 19g of protein, and sea-sourced minerals 🌊

We are so grateful for the gift of real nourishment and the impeccable delivery available to us! It’s $2.50/serving and worth every penny. taken in Levity Health Market by @levityresource
