here is something i’ve been wanting to make for some time. i gathered tips for disabled printmakers on how to make your process easier, based on my own and other’s experience. this guide is meant to be expanded further in the future, but i hope some people will find the current version useful still. feel free to add your tips in the comments!

miniaturowe grafiki z grzybami na jesień: pieczarka lśniąca i muchomor czerwonawy. wydrukowane w czerni oraz w kolorze bordowym wymieszanym z pigmentów Kremer 🍄🍄‍🟫

mini autumnal prints with mushrooms: agaricus silvaticus and am. rubescens. printed in black ink and custom burgundy ink i mixed using Kremer dry pigments 🍄🍄‍🟫 A7 sized linocut prints showing two different designs: one with agaricus silvaticus mushroom and one with one with amanita rubescens. a carving tool can be seen next to the prints by @lewekmek

oprawiłem dla siebie grafikę z Pitą :) ciężko było znaleźć pomarańczowe passe-partout! ten kolor przypomina mi barwę, którą futro czarnych kotów przybiera pod światłem słońca. 🐈‍⬛

i framed the Pita print for myself. it wasn’t easy to find orange mat! this colour reminds me of the black cat fur appearance under the sunlight. 🐈‍⬛ a black cat linocut print framed with orange mat and dark brown wooden frame by @lewekmek

ten obraz akwarelą powstał w 2022, ale zapomniałem go wcześniej dodać na mój profil. 🐈 dawno nie malowałem (a przecież tak zaczęło się to konto), może czas do tego wrócić

this watercolour painting was made in 2022, but i forgot to post it. i haven’t painted in a while (and that’s how this account started), so perhaps i should explore this technique again a portrait of calico cat laying down relaxed with her tongue sticking out and eyes closed by @lewekmek

przepiórka pstra; grafika ta była zabawą z teksturami, do których użyłem między innymi dłut o prostokątnym profilu oraz dłut o przekroju V z wieloma ostrzami. na bazie zdjęcia autorstwa Nialla Perrinsa

harlequin quail. i had fun with textures when working on this print; macaroni and multiple line V gouges were used. inspired by a picture of Niall Perrins (inaturalist) angled photo of a linocut print with harlequin quail. the background is carved with expressive textures made out of square shapes by @lewekmek

druga litografia mojego autorstwa, przedstawiająca niedźwiedzia inspirowanego malarstwem z Chauvet 🐻

here is the second lithograph i made. it was inspired by Chauvet cave paintings lithography with a bear drawn in expressive style with scratched and splattered texture. the print is printed in the brown gradient on beige paper taken in Rakla - pracownia litografii w CK Zamek by @lewekmek
