Barcelona 2026. Marathon debut.
Trying to find the positives is hard when you are hypercritical on yourself.
Getting injured 5 weeks before the race and being told you can’t run for at least 4 weeks would suggest I should be pleased with a 3:01:17, but ya know, it wasn’t the debut I wanted, but is what I got.
Thanks to @strieg.runs for all the support and training, @lifeinstridepodcast team for all the encouragement when the injury blues really set in.
Biggest thanks to @paradoxicalspiral for always keeping me grounded when I was spiralling into depression and being a straight up babe who’s loves Barcelona as much as I do.
Might go back in the summer for some long run workouts with @jimmywhelann for Berlin marathon prep 👀 taken in Barcelona, Spain by @lewis450

Vegas 2025.
Watched @jettson18 do Jett things, @hunterlawrence miss out again and @joshimoda take the $500k all while not being able to speak English. Good to catch up with @ben__griffith and @camchain621 at the Honda truck.
Running the strip at 5.30am is probably the best time to see it…joys of jet lag! by @lewis450

Better late than never I guess…
New Year’s Day 2024, I won Fynn a KTM 50 in a raffle, then in December I entered a @fastfrends raffle by buying a tshirt and won a signed @elhombre21 race kit.

I haven’t entered any raffles this year yet…. by @lewis450

Never thought my bike deserved to be in a magazine, let alone one as established as @greasykulture but here we are!
Thank you Guy, for thinking my bike is good enough to get featured and @joelnikilewispeet for taking the photos.

It’s that time of year where one bike gets put in the corner for 6 months, and the other comes out for its annual wobble around a field.

Had to change up my bike to make it slightly more comfortable for longer mileage. Biggest improvement was the seat which @paradoxicalspiral restored and re-upholstered with a sheep skin. Like sitting in a arm chair all day.
Might change it back, might keep it….might even change everything.

@unicorn_flakes_vintagechoppers was kind enough to invite us to his workshop and show us around the city of Angers. Thank you for the hospitality 🍻🥖
