I came out 7 years ago. My reflection and essay this year is perhaps my most vulnerable offering to date, I considered and reconsidered but like water rushing forward in a great river who am I, in the words of the LDS scripture of my youth, to stretch forth my puny arm and stop the great Missouri in its course. All my love to those taking the time to read this, I yearn for a better world a kinder world with room for EVERYONE. and that includes you. I love you , thank you. <3 by @lewtah

Brie + Adam’s big happy wedding in the mountains :)

This is a mix of color negative (C41) and reversal film (E6), and B&W ofc! Sometimes I am asked if I feel nervous about not using any digital cameras, especially at a wedding, and the answer is YES ABSOLUTELY! Film is as much a magic trick as it is a science, the color is a testament of that! So yes I am nervous after a shoot but it’s mostly butterflies or I guess caterpillars, film undeveloped, then from heat and chemistry turned into butterflies <3

Bridal portraits for Ginny + Brad. 🎞️
I shot these on my Dad’s mission camera from 1986, my first camera, the one I continually reach for. These are extra special because Brad is my younger brother so I’m finally gaining another sister! A 40 year old camera, used by two generations, seen here at the beginning of another union, heres to at least 40 more!
