Some gifts check a box. This one tells a story. 🌵🌸

So grateful that this repeat customer trusted me to make a custom wedding platter to gift to the bride and groom to be. The platter features their home — and tucked into every corner of the floral border? Little details the gift giver chose herself, that represent the couple.

I was a little nervous at first because I have done icon, platters, and floral platters, but I had not combined the two yet. I wanted to make sure it came out aesthetic and intentional. I’m super happy with the finish product and hope you guys love it too!

Have you ever made a gift for someone that came out so cute you wish you could keep it? 🥹

I was trying to come up with cute birthday gift ideas for one of my good friends, so in addition to her regular gift I thought it would be fun to have my boys make them a gift to her since she’s such a good auntie to them. So we came up with this adorable flower vase. I thrifted the flower vase and then used @Pébéo paint pots to get their footprints and fingerprints on the vase. After that, I used a combination of Pebeo and @edding markers to make this cute gardening themed vase 🥰

I think this could make an adorable Mother’s Day gift!

This song playing while they lower Marie into the ground, and Joey saying “Gussie. I need a favor, lad” are going to ruin me

“The angel closes her eyes
The confusion that was hers
Belongs now to the baby down the hall (baby down the hall)
(Baby down the hall)”

If you have read boys of tommen but haven’t read this scene while listening to Lightening Crashes by Live you need to. Chloe Walsh adds so much to her stories by the songs she mentions, it’s truly an immersive experience.

Another day, another cutie vase. Just trying to get to 1k followers so @edding_uk and @pebeo_usa will notice the cute things I make with their products 👀

I still can’t get over how cute this thrifted spice rack turned out!

But the second I filled it with spices, I realized… wait. This would be SO cute for craft storage too.

Beads, buttons, charms, sewing supplies, sprinkles if you’re a baker — honestly, the possibilities are getting a little dangerous.

Might have to thrift another one…

Also, please ignore the temporary spice labels. I don’t own a Cricut yet, so we’re working with what we’ve got.

I thrifted a wooden spice rack and apparently took that a little too seriously.

What started as a quick little project turned into hand-painting florals, ordering and staining tiny doors and windows, handcrafting ceramic pieces, and hunting down miniatures because apparently the spices needed real estate 🫣

Did it go a little overboard? Absolutely. Do I now consider it a treasured piece? Also absolutely.

And before anyone comments on my transitions, I make painted things, not videos. I have absolutely no idea what I’m doing… ever. So this is as good as it gets 🤸‍♀️

Also if anyone finds any small vintage spice jars that would look good in these please let me know!
