Locs 🤝🏽 formal wear

This was the first time I wore my locs to a formal event and they really added to the glammm ✨ I traveled ✈️ with my Pop Smoke braids and they were everything 👏🏽 @locdbykia_ did her thinggg. I took the braids down and wore waves one night, then snatched those waves into a quick style for my formal event. It worked out perfectly! 🙌🏽

These braids outs really have me in a chokehold. I’m obsessed 🤩 Add these braids and styles to your rotation frenn 🥰

Fishtail Friday 💁🏽‍♀️ Yall I’m on a roll 🥹 Yall know I used to dread getting locs styles. They hurt! Idk what it is about getting locs but they make you tender headed! 😩 Add tension with a style? Baby, count me OUT!

But I’ve been trying new styles this year. This fishtail is easily a fave. Simple, stylish, low tension, easy to take down, and versatile because you can wear it down or with a ponytail or updo. Best of all worlds tbh. Try it if you haven’t!

Before getting locs, I actually thought they required little to no maintenance! They seem like such a care-free style. Truth is, healthy locs do require regular TLC!🔒💛

I made some mistakes early on so you don’t have to! This list has been the cheat code to keep OUT lint, dullness/dryness & buildup and help me see growth. 🙌🏽
