Been in the lab heavy lately. Music, teaching, sounds, all of it starting to connect.

JEWEL OF THOUGHT is out now. That record is really the foundation for where my head been at musically. Much love to the whole @leauxfyetribe family for being part of that world with me.

CONCRETE CONQUEROR with @bubstyles is out too. We really cooked on that one. Shout out @crimeapple and everybody who came through and added to the record.

And SIGHTING with @dosonegrams + @zetrocmusic is out in the world too. This one lives in its own universe. Wino drums, Zetroc synths, Doseone words.

Special love and gratitude to Agent X for his contributions to the project, additional production, samples, ideas, and for helping add another layer to the sound. Really appreciate what he brought to SIGHTING.

At the same time I finally opened the WINOVISION DISCORD.

I’m not tryna make another server just for people to sit in 😂 I want this to be an actual community for people making music.

We got beats-and-flips, sample-digging, gear-talk, daily-dig, WINOVISION RADIO + TV, plus different spaces like CRATE DIGGER, BEAT LAB, MACHINE LABS and MASTER LAB.

I’ll be running classes, beat challenges, live cookups, dropping mini free kits, resources and discount codes for WINOVISION kits in there too.

My first classes start OCTOBER 15 and the COURSE • SP-404MKII section is where we’re kicking things off.

If you already support me through Patreon, you automatically get access to the courses.

I’m also about to start dropping my WINOVISION SP-404MKII PROJECT KITS.

This ain’t just a folder full of WAVs.

You load the project into your 404 and you already got:

DRUMS
PATTERNS
FX
PERCUSSION LOOPS
BASS

Load the jawn. Find something crazy to chop. Start making a beat.

The whole point is to remove some of that staring-at-an-empty-project energy and help people finish more music.

And major love to FLIP A BEAT CLUB for rocking with that sample pack I curated with LEX Sounds + @leauxfyetribe. Seeing folks actually flip the music we put together got me hype to keep building this whole WINOVISION world.

Been having a GREAT time building these WV404 project files for the SP-404MKII.

I wanted these to be more than just folders of sounds. The idea is to give you something you can actually open up, start flipping, and build a whole joint with.

I’ve been running sounds through Gazillion Industries plugins for some extra dirt, weight + heat, then building out the drums, MIDI grooves, percussion, bass notes + FX specifically around the 404 workflow.

And trust me… I’ve been testing these joints 😂
I already cranked out basically a whole tape worth of beats messing with the system.

If you’re a member of FLIP A BEAT CLUB, you’ll get access to the exclusive WV404 × FLIP A BEAT CLUB LITE project:

16-pad drum bank
16 MIDI drum grooves
4 percussion loops
16 playable bass notes
4 one-shot FX

Load a groove. Add some percussion. Play a bassline. Throw an FX hit somewhere stupid. Flip it. Keep moving.

This is just a taste of what I’ve been putting together.

I’m really excited for everybody to get their hands on the full WINOVISION 404 projects.

I’ve been thinking a lot about how I can make drum kits feel more like instruments + creative environments instead of just a folder full of WAVs.

WV404 is that idea coming together.

Built to flip.

Cooking with the new WinoVision Vol.1 kit. This joint will drop on splice soon but in the meanwhile go to Wino’s site and download this pack. I love the workflow especially all the xpm MPC files that make it super easy to drop in patterns and create beats fast.
