On Friday, May 8th, 2026, I’ll be walking across the stage AGAIN earning my master’s degree from The Illustrious Alabama A&M University 🎓
2 degrees at 23… something I once prayed for, cried over, and kept working toward even on the days I felt like giving up.

Earning my master’s in just 1 year stretched me mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. It taught me discipline, patience, and how to trust God through every step.

I’ve earned my hood. I’ve earned my flowers.
But more than anything, I’ve grown.

None of this would have been possible without God. All glory belongs to Him 🙏🏾
Let me be clear… this is still just the beginning ✨

To The Department of Urban and Regional Planning and The Urban Planning Association,

These past 4 years I have spent majority of my days in the Dawson Building on the 3rd Floor. I never would have imagined gaining another family with like minded people that welcomed me with open arms my freshman year! To know me is to know that I have heart for helping others in less fortunate communities and wanting to design better cities for underdeveloped communities. Urban Planning combines creativity, science, and social impact to design cities that improve the quality of life for everyone. I am forever grateful for the DCRP Department and UPA for how it shaped me to look at Urban Planing through a unique lens🗺️🌎🌇❤️.

I proudly stand as the First Female Quiet Storm Originator to be inducted into the prestigious Collegiate 100. A moment that is bigger than me. This is about legacy. About opening doors that were once closed. About redefining what leadership looks like in spaces where woman like me have too often been overlooked. I didn’t just step into history, I made it! This milestone isn’t just a personal win; it’s a beacon for every young woman who dares to lead, disrupt, and transform. I am honored to be the first, but I promise I won’t be the last.

To My Sisters- We are the blueprint, the first females to ever do it, hold that title with honor and continue to be the storm everywhere you go. Thank you all for making me feel like y’all big sister and welcoming me with open arms. Each of you are so special and I will forever be proud of y’all! To my first organization, thank you for allowing me join THE LARGEST CO-ED SERVICE FRAT in the United States💙💛! These past 2 years I have grown to be the best version of myself and understood what true brotherhood resembles. It has been a blessing to cross paths with each of you and I am forever grateful for the lifelong relationships I have built!

LONG LIVE THY FAME🐾

First and foremost I am forever grateful to God for carrying me through every challenge and blessing me with the strength to graduate. This degree is a testament to His faithfulness🙏🏾!

On May 9th @3pm I graduated from The Illustrious Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University, achieved DEBT-FREE with HONORS through steadfast commitment and faith graduating along side my twin sister being the ONLY set of twins in our graduating class🐶🎓

Being from Texas the Lone Star State, moving to Alabama for college was definitely an interesting change new culture, new pace, and new experiences but it opened doors I never imagined. Texas will always be home, but AAMU gave me new roots and unforgettable memories. I am truly grateful for every moment, every lesson, and every person I met along the way. AAMU shaped me, challenged me, and blessed me with memories I will forever cherish.
I will always be A BAD BAD BULLDOG TIL THE DAY I DIE🥹🐶
