i gained 1,400 images but ig only allows 10 to attempt to encapsulate the past week & a half. & there’s even more words needed to describe my experience. just some of those are: breathtaking, majestic, restless, hot, educational, treacherous, awesome, heartfelt, no-sleep-having-uncomfortable-bed-laying, beautiful, idyllic, $3-shots, friendship & it was all especially, unforgettable.
Egypt is a place that ive always wanted to visit but never actually imagined that crossing it off my bucket list would come true. countless times i would step back, just look around & pinch myself that im in Africa haha seeing everything with my own two eyes was more awe inspiring than i had hoped it would be.
not only was i enthralled by the historic landmarks i traversed but im forever grateful for the memories that i made while doing so with people i’ll never forget.
s/o to @uriahmaraj for always bringing the lively energy & providing laughs for everyone when you’d get swindled into buying everything haha
& s/o to @eatsleepstrut for inviting me on this trip because if you didn’t i probably would have never gone. & thank you for being a great roommate that caused literally zero problems haha. love you guys.
interestingly i started the trip with 2 great friends, & ended up leaving with 19.
going on a group tour could be daunting but i couldn’t ask for a better collection of humans from around the world to explore with. s/o to @lisahomsy & @mohadel_85 for planning and running everything. you were both amazing. it was imperfectly perfect & i wouldn’t change a thing about it. you two made the trip safe, educational, & most of all, fun. if you travel, i suggest doing so with Lisa, & if you go to Egypt i suggest doing so with Mohamed.
the thrilling rollercoaster this trip was, provided so many ups with the occasional dip that brought us all closer. a dip that i don’t even technically consider a bad moment because they bonded us & those will be the true life long memories. the people im with in these photos were my favorite part. i can truly say that i created friendships that i hope to keep, foster & cherish for the rest of my life. where we traveling to next guys? taken in Egypt by @lex_majewski
