My favorite title will always be Mommy.
My favorite place will always be wherever my girls are.
My favorite words to say are, “These are my daughters.”
They are truly my answered prayers.

Is it hard? Absolutely. I get tired. I cry sometimes because raising them alone isn’t what I ever imagined. But while that is part of our story, so is this:

It is joyful. It is rewarding. It is the greatest honor of my life to raise two of the strongest, most independent, fearless little girls.

Every sacrifice is worth it when I look at them. I know God has something so much bigger in store for us than I could ever imagine, and I can’t wait to watch His plans unfold.

Until then, I’ll keep showing up, loving them with everything I have, and thanking God every single day that I get to be their mom. 🤍 by @lex_mase

Happy birthday to my girlie pop, the one who made me a mama. The best day of my life was meeting you three years ago. You are the kindest, funniest, most outspoken little 3-year-old, and you bring so much joy to everyone around you. The best sister, the best friend, the best daughter. 🥹 You’ve taught me what it truly means to be a mom; unconditional love, patience, and a love I never knew existed. I hope you always use your voice, stay independent, and never lose your light. I pray you continue to grow into the most amazing little lady. Never, ever lose your kind heart or your confidence. To my daughters:

I pray that you never change, that you continue to grow but that you never lose the strong personalities that you both have. I pray that you never allow anyone to make you think you need to shrink yourself or change to their liking. I pray that you always know your worth, that you protect your energy and that you believe in yourself. I pray that you grow up to be resilient, steadfast and determined. I pray that in this crazy world, you become the difference, that you set a standard and that you exute kindness to each path you cross. I promise to always embrace your differences, to always advocate for you and to be your voice when you feel you don't have one. I promise to love you unconditionally, to guide you and to be the best example I can be for you. I promise to always be your safe place, an ear to listen, a shoulder to cry on but to also hold you accountable. Never ever let anyone else define you, be you always! You are braver than you believe, smarter than you think and loved more than you know!! Being your momma is the greatest gift in the world and I will forever be your biggest cheerleader. Happy happy birthday to my little nugget🥹🥹 Little did I know that shortly after your arrival, I would realize why I truly needed you! Your love reminded me of what really mattered most. Your love is soft, pure and unconditional. Your spirit is warm, welcoming and healing. You are beautiful, smart, and caring. You are soft but insistent. Shy but confident. Sensitive but tough. Loving and squishy! You give me a sense of peace, a strength I didn't know existed and unconditional love that I will never take for granted. One is crazy!! Watching you become your own little person is so fun & I'm so thankful that I get a front row seat to watch you grow up & be great!! It's crazy how intentional God is on who he places in your life and when, you have helped me in more ways than you can imagine. I'm thankful he gave me you to love forever! Thank you for growing through this journey with me and for teaching me daily how to be a better mommy and person.
